Kiffin will have his own statue at LSU after he wins multiple national championships for LSU!

i'm going with this
More realistic though:
He finally wins a national title and bolts to the NFL. Those are the only two realistic options I see. I truly believe he is going to dominate while at LSU.
The thing is the majority of our fanbase know what we're getting in Kiffin. We just want a title or two before he ultimately bolts.
but I really don't see him going to another college team unless he's a failure here, which I just don't see happening. Literally feel like the Dodgers right now.

1. He brings multi-natties to LSU and does as well as Kirby Smart has at Georgia (or better).

Now do this with Golding........

I’m guessing he goes the Petrino route. Beat up by a mad husband.

Expectations are making playoffs
He’ll do that consistently

LSU fires all it's coaches
In recent decades yes. Saban is the only coach not to be fired since Arnsparger left on his own.
I have no problem with that. We don’t accept mediocrity and I would challenge anyone to make a case for not firing any of them.
By the way, while we have fired six of our last seven, Florida has fired five of their last six. Difference is, two of our fired coaches won a natty during their tenure. Their hires have been far more spectacular failures than ours have.

As for the OP. I like the question. I agree with many that #2 is a fair answer.

Overall though I’d be really bummed if he didn’t give LSU 5-7 great seasons.
Personally I just don’t think he’s the NFL type personality but maybe I’m way off. He’s more designed to win 5 natties at LSU

Quite an argument you’re making
The argument you are making is that Ole Miss has more talent than LSU. Your argument is based on the draft positions of a handful of players. This alone is faulty since it is a selective data set.
Your argument is also faulty because it ignores evals that will be made after the hand selected set of players get another year to mature. These projections are fluid and will change.
Meanwhile, the argument made against you is transfer portal evals They are based upon current production at the college level and are not, at this time subject to change like NFL draft evals.

I don’t know how Kiffin will ultimately do at LSU, but I can say that since being named head coach, he’s already done more work than Kelly ever did. As I’ve been with every coach and every season, I remain cautiously optimistic about the future of LSU football. Only time will tell how Kiffin works out.

somewhere between 2 and 3
I think he gets to the playoff several times may make the final game but likely will never win it

I think he's like most every other modern coach at LSU, which is that he'll have a good-not-elite seasons on average with a couple championship-caliber teams in there.
I don't think Kiffin is there forever, I don't think he flames out super quickly either. Let's say 5-7 seasons. In that span, I'd guess 2-3 playoff appearances, one title game appearance.

Lane will be still be winning championships at LSU when Pete Golding is fired from the Ole Piss Black Rebel Bears

Kiffin will probably get them into the playoffs in a few years. I doubt he will ever get them a natty.
I just don't think he is the coach that they think he is. That being said, he was probably their best choice of what was available at the time.
We heard all this same BS when they hired Kelly. My guess is that Kiffin is just Kelly 2.0

3. Gets LSU close to the playoffs a time or two but never makes a deep run.
I think this is the most likely. Not like he's a bad coach... just when this much money changes hands only one result is acceptable and he hasn't produced that yet.....
