The back up QB...it's always the back up...

Tebow, McCarron, or Tua.
Only reason I wouldn’t say Newton is because he didn’t play well in the NCG.( or the Super Bowl)

Cam or Tebow
Dark Horse would be Jalen Hurts because somehow that fricker always finds a way to win.

Nice Cam Newton thread. It’s 2019 dude. Auburn sucks

OP said to win a game. What did Manziel ever win? They don't give out Bronze medals for finishing 3rd in the SEC West

You're talking about dropping the QB into your existing roster and you have to win... If we are doing this opponent unseen, Manziel might be more flexible to insert into a variety of different offenses. Same for Tebow. I'm not sold that Cam would be a good fit with what UGA does offensively. He's objectively a beast, but I'd worry about teams keying on the run and our lack of depth/experience at wide out to make them pay... You lose a lot of the value of the designed Cam runs without some of those deep threats.

Cam easily. He's the only one that has done it at all levels and without much help. JFF wouldn't have been anything without Evans diving through the air to catch his constant Hail Marys. Tebow would be second but he had alot of help and talent around him his entire career. Auburn wouldn't have made it anywhere with Tebow or JFF at QB in 2010.
UGA had QBs but they were injury prone and you never knew who would show up.

What does the rest of the team around him look like?

He's the greatest Dual Threat Quarterback in the history of the sport

Yeah. I mean, arguably I could say for us McCarron or another Bama QB who managed games well... Fit matters a lot of the only thing I get to do is helicopter the QB in...

McCarron?
Lolololol
He wouldn’t make my top 25.
I would pick McCarron if the team around him is decent and you can give him decent protection in the pocket.
If you don't have a very good team and you need a "1 man show" type offense, then I would go Cam Newton.
