I wouldn’t want that mental asterisk beside my school’s NC every time someone reads it. I’d rather have a Tebow or Fromm, who was actually a student at my school for more that a year and who attended classes there.

This is why I would take Tebow or McCarron. I wouldn't take pride in cheating my way to a championship, even if Newton was clearly the best college QB in the group. Just like I would never have been one of those people cheering on Joe Mixon at Oklahoma, Simmons at Mississippi State or that pedophile baseball player at Oregon State. Having integrity still matters to some people.

I already brought stats into it ti show. If you think can is better because if rushing (tim had more TDs) then nick fitz was the best sec qb. By auburn fans logic

Cam carried an 8 or 9 win Auburn team to 14-0. He's definitely first on this list.

I get why MS State fans dont like Cam, they got outbid and they were the team he flew like Superman against.
As far as Jake Fromm, come on man, way down the list. Now if I had a passing offense I would give you Stafford on up there but not Fromm.

I like the guy and his game. Just not his dad :) I drafted him on my fantasy team for a while because everyone in my league hated him and he'd drop multiple rounds. I'd get him on the cheap, unlike in college. He had a high price and obviously for good reason.

In fact I'd take him over any other college QB in the history of football... i'd prolly take Bo Jackson as my RB if i was building an all time team. Maybe Herschell but I really like Bo. Bo knows football and Archery

Cam as QB1 and a controversial pick of Josh Dobbs as QB2, mainly because he could win despite terrible coaching, a non-existent OL, and he orchestrated some of the best/most impossible comebacks I've ever witnessed.
Manziel as QB3 because he has similar qualities but I don't quite trust Manziel.

Responses should probably vary based on the system you're inserting them into.
I feel like Manziel or Tebow might have been a little more versatile for a lot of teams. It seems like it would be easier to insert Manziel in a pro-style system like what we have at UGA but give him the flexibility to move around, slide the pocket, and take off when needed. Cam felt *really* good in the system, but not sure how well he would complement our offense without Gus' very specific scheme/approach for example.
