I don't understand this question. Can I still build a college team around Cam?
Ah, screw it, give me the dancing cat.

I agree too valuable to do that.

Why couldn't you? For the right price you can buy his loyalty.... add in 3 easy payments of $19.99 and the NCAA is yours as well.

Exactly.
Good returner or not, you don't put a lockdown corner on returns nowadays...

Offense: Richardson
Defense: Powell

Yeah, never worked out for Deion Sanders, the greatest lockdown corner in the history of the game.
And don't throw the "nowadays" word back at me. Deion played in the 90's. It ain't ancient history.

I thought McCarron was the best QB UA has ever seen in the past 20 years though.

The position has become more valuable because of Deion, now everyone wants their own lockdown corner.
You think they'll risk him getting hit on a return? frick that noise.
Revis was a good college returner, but I'd call for Rex's head if he even thought about putting Revis on returns.
Rex is smart enough to know how valuable a elite CB though...

Auburn fan creates thread to brag about how awesome Auburn players are.
Offense: Lattimore as a proven commodity; Ware as an unproven commodity (if he is as good as us LSU fans think he is then I'd pick him, but at this point i'll go with the proven commodity).
Defense: Anthony Johnson (if given time to develop; obviously he is young and raw right now)

I actually think the cornerback position has become greatly devalued in recent years. There is no such thing as a shutdown corner anymore with all the rules they've put in place to help the offense. A corner can't even breathe on a receiver after five yards without a flag getting thrown. It's all about building the best defensive line and the best pass rush that you possibly can. It's why Marcell Dareus will go higher than Patrick Peterson. He's not a better player than PP but he will be much more valuable if he lives up to his potential.

Major difference between Deion and PP is that PP is a physical CB and will deliver and absorb a lot of contact. Deion never hit anybody. The main reason he was so good at defending the pass was because he never wanted to have to tackle anyone, Ever! So good at returns because he never wanted to get tackled, Ever!
With that
Defense: Still PP. As previously stated he controls half the field.
Offense: Lattimore Simply the most complete back in the SEC.

For the NFL, I think I would take Suh. He is a young, dominate force in the middle who will jam the run and give a great pass rush from the middle of the defensive line.
In college, going back a few years I would take Tebow. A quarterback who demands respect from his teammates, can throw and can run. A perfect college quarterback. If you want new kids, I like Khiel Frazier a lot. With the young linemen Auburn has and if we can get a couple more receivers that live up to hype, he could set a lot of records before leaving Auburn. Can run very well, throw well but his leadership will be my question. I think no matter who is quarterback the next two years, Dyer will be Auburn's offensive vocal leader.
I don't think you can build an NFL franchise around a running back even though they are hugely valuable. They just take too many big hits and are liable to go down with a short life span in the pros. The new protection rules for quarterbacks make a quarterback the way to go or go over to your defensive line.
In college, you can go with a running back more easily but a quarterback who gives a dual threat is a huge thing to have.

That would be retarded to build your team around a WR. College RB Marcus lattimore. NFL- mallet (I'm a titans fan and if not kolb we gots to have a qb)
