I seriously hope that OU and OSU figure this out because that rivalry needs to be played.

91-20-7
Is that really a rivalry?

I'd rather have Arkansas over OU, but it could have been worse, I guess. We did get to keep LSU, so that's a big win.

So long Pigs. You'll be missed.

Yes. As silly as it sounds considering the record, it is a rivalry. And a good one.

For LSU
I’m happy about the piggies. I hope we get the Friday after Thanksgiving back

Ole Miss is ok
ATM sucks

Trade them for Florida and Auburn

LSU vs Piggies, gators and War Eagles

Should be Arky instead of Mizzou for A&M. The Arky games are always fun.

I feel nothing for Mizzou.

You've played like it most years.

Thank you.

Wow, Birmingham really wanted to take the focus off officiating this morning.

Would rather have A&M than Mizzou but as long as we get LSU/Ark back on Black Friday and Texas every year it's a huge win for my fandom.

I'm good with playing Mizzou but playing a pretend rival on "rivalry weekend" for a shopping cart is depressing.

I was hoping OU would get LSU, Florida, or Bama over Mizwho.

Thrilled about LSU.
I knew we’d get Texas
Wish it was Arkansas over Missouri.

And for anyone asking why we didn’t get OU- I think both schools are indifferent to one another.

*completely get why LSU is salty of getting us vs Florida.

We still have people calling LSU/A&M "forced" in 2025

The data is right there saying that it's not and that it never was.

The two schools had already played 5 full decades worth of games before Texas A&M even joined the SEC. We literally have an average of playing each other every other year since 1899, which is wild considering the bulk were OOC games.

That pause in the mid 90s really makes the younger crowd oblivious I guess.

I know half of LSU fans would rather play someone else and that's fine, but at least drop the "forced" schtick.

Oh you should be happy that Texas A&M going to be playing Mizzou right now than to be playing Arkansas that isn't ranked.

Meh

I would wait and see if LSU can beat all three of them this year.

Believe me, it’s mutual.

I think both fanbases are disappointed in this pairing.

Yep. There's no disrespect intended. I just don't understand why the SEC keeps trying to make this a thing. There's really no history there at all.

I think this one help Mizzou in recruiting the State of Texas.

No more Bama-LSU.
EVERY SEASON.

I'm sure the SEC Office will have BAMA -LSU scheduled frequently though.

LSU fans are probably relieved to not get Bama every other season in Tiger Stadium any longer though, because it's usually a loss.

And......the LSU football team historically seems to be absolutely petrified of seeing Crimson helmet's and jerseys in Tiger Stadium because they usually play like shite against Alabama.

From the outside looking in, here is my take.

LSU has played Florida 52x since 1971.

LSU has played A&M 29x since 1971.

So about a 2-1 ratio.

If they had made Florida their permanent rival, then they would have kept the 2-1 ratio in tact.

Every year vs Every other year. It should have been Florida imo.
