UGA defense needs to take one for the team and turn this into a 63-60 shootout.

If this is the game Vandy wants to play, I want to see her kick it 8-10 times/gm.

Maybe the punter should opt out and let her take over that too.

Just let vandy close enough to 40 yard FGs all game long. I may have to watch this game.

It wasn't a squib kick

but didn't they later claim it was an intentional squib kick?

which makes perfect sense....when you're down 21 and opening the second half, a squib is generally the best strategy

Mo Isom LSU soccer player tried out for LSU football years ago under Miles, she didn't make the team though.
It was a fair try out though and I don't remember any big deal about it other than Miles gave her the opportunity with other walk on kickers.

So will she squib ( ) every kickoff against UGA?

That’s one strategy

Late to the game here...who made the decision to put a female on the football team? Does she get a special locker room?

“I didn’t speak with her specifically after last week’s game, but she indicated that she wanted to continue,” Fitch said, via 247Sports. “She was there today. Right now, as it stands I don’t see any change in that. She’ll be with us on the trip to Georgia and we’re gonna put the best people out there. If she’s our best option, we’ll continue to work with her and we’ll do the best we can for the team.”

If that quote is what led to people quitting the team, then it's not surprising Vandy is winless.

I'd bet that if she gets a shot at a FG, special teams coaches will say she intentionally shanked the kick wide left and 5 yds short

This puts Vandy on the map. If I'm Vandy, I love this publicity. They suck in football; who cares.

"It won her an espy". That's a foregone conclusion. ESPN will make her the Female Athlete of the Year. And she will get a standing ovation. But if it's true that the half time pep talk did not take place, was she not bragging about it afterwards?

Their HC has been fired, they're winless, and there's an ongoing plague. Kicker is very likely low on their list of whys.

Good let it burn. Give them what they want all girls team against the SEC. Equality is awesome for about 1/3 of a quarter.

Did this actually happen? Also, maybe they should listen to her if it did. Vanderbilt's women's soccer team just won the SEC title and beat the #1, #2 and #3 seeds to do it. Sounds like she could teach them how to pick themselves up and move forward.

My brothers 16u team would beat them by 7. This chick has no business telling SEC men athletes how to prepare and cheer. It’s okay that men and women are different. I wouldn’t expect these football players to go to a miss America pageant and tell a bunch of women how to prepare either.

I haven’t said a word about this young lady.
Not sure why I don’t have an opinion, but I don’t.
That said, if the subject of this thread is true (I haven’t read the thread), that’s kinda lame.

Vanderbilt’s struggles aren’t about a kicker in one game.
The team is frustrated—that part is understandable.
But this kicker has gotten into the heads of a whole heckuva lot of people.
