No 48 year old college player should be eligible.

He has cratered in the biggest games this year which is not a Heisman winning characteristic.

He’s 8-2

Has his team in the playoff hunt

At Vanderbilt

I like the guy and have nothing against him but to win the Heisman you have to step up on big stages and he had that chance and didn't. Maybe Vandy gets in the Playoff and he goes off but the Heisman voting is done by then. I'd put Haynes King above him in the category of folks that carry their team on their shoulders. Tech lost to NC State but he put up 500 yards by himself.

FWIW for Reed I think it will depend on if he goes off on Texas. Everyone will be watching that game and if he steps up and A&M finishes undefeated that's a hell of a statement. Then he would have an SECCG to make a statement as well.

Just a lot of candidates this year, Sayin and Mendoza will also be getting a lot of attention. Wouldn't shock me to see Love from ND in there too.

He's beaten the cow college 3 years in a row. But that's not hard to do.

Likely deserves and invite, depending on how many they actually invite this year. You’re probably looking at Sayin - OSU, Mendoza- Indy, Simpson- UA, and Love- Notre Dame.

OP, you under-estimate how bad Bama would be without Ty.

I don’t get this his numbers are similar to arch mannings yet to many manning is overrated but pavia should win the heisman?

Gotta agree.

Pavia's play is great, but his attitude is everything football is about..

It is all about attitude.

Pavia: Gritty try hard, humble origins. Carries the team.
Manning: Whiny nepo baby, "deserving" of everything anyone has to offer. Blames teammates when he plays bad..

How old is Paris? If he’s over 23, he should not be in college

Things have gotten so bleak at Auburn they are pulling for their opponents to win the Heisman.

What if I told you Pavia and Vandy’s offense only scored 14 against Alabama and 17 against Missouri?

To this point, I don't see a true front runner for the Heisman. Strange season in that regard.

After the MIZZOU game, I would have laughed at anyone saying this, but after the last 2 games...I totally see where you are coming from.
