the talent and experience lost to the draft (which is ~7 players on D alone).
That’s not an issue that’s what major programs deal with every year you just reload. Texas has the most players draft in the last two years 23 and would’ve been 24 if Isaiah Bond didn’t have that stuff happen with him this year was a down year and next year they reload that’s why you have the number one recruiting class from last year Guys got to develop and get ready to step up

Better than being a South Carolina fan though don’t you think?imagine being a South Carolina fan no hope or belief that your team will ever win a national title or even an SEC title.
It’s just a prediction and I am a homer, but I’m a realistic homer the 10 years before Sark I never made that prediction because I knew it wasn’t gonna happen. these last few years I thought we could win a national title and I hoped we would, but I never predicted we would.
Next season, though they’re going all in with arch Manning and Colin Simmons. They’re gonna hit the portal hard and they still might make some changes on the offensive staff.this team is gonna have elite talent again top five in the nation, but their defense is gonna be better and more aggressive PK had a bend but don’t break defense. Colin Simmons had 11 sacks being dropped into coverage on third down he should have 20 sacks next year in 16 games with Coach boom. He’s not gonna drop into coverage anymore and the number one recruiting class from last year. They’re all gonna be sophomores and redshirt freshman this year added into the depth of the team arch Manning is really good regardless of what you think of him he was not good at the beginning of the year , but he played really good at the end of the year and if you look at his stats, they were good. He should be a Heisman favorite going in the next year.

re: Muschamp to Texas

This is an upgrade for what Sark wants to do. PK is one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation, but muschamp has an aggressive, man-to-man defense that goes better with Sark‘s offense. He had the best defenses when he was at Texas last time.

Aggie lying again. I like PK he’s one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation, but Muschamp is an upgrade for what Sark wants to do. He wants an aggressive defense that plays man-to-man and that’s what muschamp has.

How does Texas just not have to play bama or UGA? Crazy they keep getting the easiest schedules.
Texas had one of the toughest schedules in the nation this year and their schedule next year is tough and that means two seasons from now they’re gonna have to play Alabama and Georgia both two years in a row. You whining peon!!!!

entitled fans
From an Alabama fan, that’s rich there is no bigger entitled whining fan base than Alabama fans. Texas fans aren’t even whining about anything. I don’t see any Texas fans mad that we didn’t make the playoffs sure Texas fans think we’re better than teams in the playoffs, but I don’t see any who think we should’ve made it by the rules that they have in place right now.
I didn’t think Texas should get in the playoffs. Do I think they’re better than a lot of teams in the playoffs yes, do I think they would beat a lot of teams in the playoffs yes, but unless teams with three losses during the regular season we’re gonna make the playoffs then yes Texas should get in, but if not, they no they shouldn’t.
Texas should be really good next year definitely better than A&M sorry arse, congratulations you made the playoffs. This is the first significant thing you’ve done as a football program since 1939. Congratulations little BRO. Try not to lose to Miami in the first round which you probably will because y’all always fold under pressure.

He looks fine for year 3. Racked most those stats against the bad teams on the schedule until A&M Maybe he continues to improve, but it's not like he blew the doors off after three years in the same system
I agree he has a lot to do to be a first round pick. I’m talking about the people that were saying to bench him like it was gonna make the team better which was stupid to anybody who watched every Texas game
Where are all the bench arch manning people ?

Who didn’t even know who the backups for Texas are and then you try to tell them arch is playing OK he’s getting better, Texas biggest issues are the offense line and running game. You wanna start Matthew Caldwell 12 touchdown six interceptions last year at like UAB arch had better stats then that in 2 1/2 games last year.
Or Trey Owens a red shirt freshman who’s transferring now or KJ Lacey a true freshman did you think Sark should start them and they’re gonna turn into Kurt Warner or stick with the guy you seen make plays and has the ability some of y’all are retarded and you just jump to conclusions after one game two games you think you know everything about that player and what they’re gonna be.
Arch had around 3200 total yards 33 total touchdowns seven interceptions if he keeps getting better, he should be pretty good next year. We’ll see how good he’s gonna be some people were talking like if it wasn’t for his last name he wouldn’t even be a starter at a P5 just silly football opinions.

Posted by Texas Man on 12/5/25 at 1:22 am to SnoopChizzle
That’s a good team, but Delpit was born in Louisiana and raised in Texas so I would count him as Texas, but you can count him as a Louisiana football player if you want I’m sure there’s plenty to replace him that are just as good
What would their defense and special teams be?
What state would have the best all time college football roster?
Posted by Texas Man on 12/5/25 at 12:05 am
If you had to make a college football team, with just players from one state all time, and that you think would give you the best opportunity to win the national title today.
I think there would be a lot of really good teams that are very deep especially when you’re thinking about all time players from college football from that state even states that aren’t that deep would have deep teams.

re: Top 10 NIL paychecks this past season...did anyone get their money's worth?
Posted by Texas Man on 12/4/25 at 10:43 pm to Rockabilly Hoodlum
I don’t know where they’re getting these numbers from, but they seem exaggerated and most of Mannings NIL endorsement are from real endorsements with real businesses
With the back up quarterback, that’s what I Just said
I don’t think that’s Metro area. I think that’s just city limits. If you do metro area Houston and Dallas Fort Worth are both top five and the reality is elite programs, recruit nationally all of them,to me Georgia has the best set up to recruit in-state players with little competition only other major program is Georgia Tech and they still recruit nationally because they’re not gonna get every guy they want from Georgia
re: Vandy would kick texas tech in the arse
Posted by Texas Man on 12/4/25 at 10:28 pm to ColoradoElkHerd
I doubt it just because you’re playing a league that isn’t that good doesn’t mean you aren’t that good all you can do is dominate your schedule and that’s what Texas Tech has done. Only game they lost was with a backup quarterback.
