I agree. LSU should be the favorite in the West. Alabama ranked 7 or even lower looks good. Saban is washed up. Program is washed up.

More surprised about PSU at 4. I have also seen them in the top 5 of many other lists. They simply aren't that good

Based on much improved roster depth and returning starters, LSU should be much better this year. Our special teams were probably worst in the conference last year and that has to be fixed. But 3 ? I’d go about 9/10. And Bama will be the favorite after SEC media days, as they always are. Also, F Pat Forde.
