This right here. I think someone close to Pat Casey told Kendall Rogers that he had an interview with LSU, which is probably true, but it was all a ploy to let the college baseball world know that Casey wants to return to coaching.

None of that even matters. All coaching searches are just like this. No one knows for sure exactly what's happening except the AD, the coach and the boosters.
"Insiders" will give you info. If it doesn't pan out, they blame it on the boosters vote, the AD etc. I don't really know what they get from it.
