Grubb is one of those OCs who is just looking for an excuse to abandon the run. The first time we don't gain 5+ yards on a carry he'll happily throw the run game chart in the round file.

I don't see us scoring very much, but I don't see them scoring very much either. 21-17 whoever has less turnovers wins, which will probably be Oklahoma.

I’ll be pulling for OU, but their offense is terrible

OU drew the best possible team for the first round, another struggling offense. But OU is a fraud and I think Bama wins; something like 9-6 or 13-10.

Dont agree with this at all. Oklahoma would have a much easier time with Miami who only beat one ranked team all season and that was my Notre Dame and they won by 1 point. They are the only team in the playoffs that has two losses to unranked teams. I would easily take my chances against Miami over Alabama.

I mean...its really simple....Alabama is 1 point favorite against Oklahoma while Miami is a 3.5 dog against Texas A&M. Miami would easily be a dog against Oklahoma so that would be a better matchup for Oklahoma than playing Alabama.

It's hard to forget 24-3 in Norman last year. OU winning 5 of the last 6 in this series. Sooners have the better defense and special teams are offenses are close to the same. Owen Field is going to be rocking. Hard to see an Alabama advantage here honestly.

I don’t think you get to choose which team you get to play.

Bama. That was a fluke win by OU in the regular season and their offense is even worse now.

I wish it were true, but I think OU has the better team and coaching staff. We are missing something, and apparently can't get it straight

Funny how that works. There was a time where they looked like a team of destiny. Every bounce went their way, opponents dropped the ball (UGA), etc. Then Ty came back down to Earth.

Like my HS coach said, “the ball isn’t round and doesn’t always bounce the way you think it will.”

Hopefully the Tide rolls

Some of the bama fans pretend that bama just handed the ball to Oklahoma last game, as in here is the ball we give it to the Sooners…. Then they say Bama won’t do that this time…..

Those take aways were part of the defense and special teams practice and effort.

From what I saw OU has a big advantage on special teams and defense. The Bama QB can rattled by stunts a confusing defensive looks. OU can stuff the Bama run game……

In is Norman at night. Crowd will be very loud…..

If OU gets a field position advantage early, game over and not close. If some how Bama gets field position early then the game lasts till second half with OU winning a close one……

Who they beat has little to do with it. Bama can't run the ball, and their QB is reportedly suffering from a herniated disc (go back and watch late in the SECCG when he went into a slide for a five yard loss rather than risk any contact). OU is very weak offensively, so the Bama matchup plays into their hands in a way that a matchup with Miami would not.

Keep seeing Bama being mentioned as the favorite they weren’t when it opened and they are not the favorite now
