You ALL told me that if Lane had any success whatsoever in Oxford he would be gone within 2-3 years. What happened? And you can’t use the “nobody wants him” nonsense because that’s a lie. I think Lane goes to Florida after this season when UF finally gets rid of that zero they’ve got. But so far tRant has been more wrong about Lane Kiffin than anything else I can remember.

So you're bragging about everyone being wrong and then predicting Lane to Florida. He didn't want the Barner job, I suppose that's rarified air for you guys. However, another Ole Miss head coach took the job. Tradition is hard to break, the barners love them some Ole Miss coaches.

Kids run the roost! He was ready to jump until his offspring didn’t want to leave Oxford.

Auburn is better off for it though

If anything, everyone was telling you that Lane would never make it to Atlanta.

So far, that's accurate.

They overestimated how willing a better program would be to put up with LK.

He took over an FAU program coming off 3 straight 3-9 seasons and won 27 games in 3 years. Took over 4-8 Ole Miss in hot water with the NCAA and has won 10 regular seasons games twice in 3 full seasons (which Ole Miss had never done before Lane).
He did fail at USC but it's not that uncommon for head coaches to get better.

I see the Gator fans are the only ones defending Kiffin…y’all are already getting ready for him lol…hell I don’t blame you. He will slay there. It is amazing how stupid posters are here. They’re comparing a young 30’s punk kid to the coach Kiffin is now…also, it is abundantly clear that posters here have no idea just how hard it is to win at Ole Miss….like the idiot comparing Lane and Kirby, because of course OM and UGA are equal situations, right??? Lol this place is an insane asylum… but Gators get it, and in 6 months your return to glory begins. Sucks for us, but good luck…

He may leave. But I hope not! I think Oxford is perfect for Lane.

He's a proven "okay" head coach, but not a great one. He's got 10-15 years left in him just like Kirby does. He did a bit better than Muschamp did with his chances as a head coach, but only a bit.

I think the 12 team playoff may buy some SEC coaches extra time.

I though you might be off...but I looked it up. He does have 3 days seniority at his school over drunk-tats at MIZZOU.

Kiffin SHOULD be our HC this time next year but of course it won't happen.

More power to you if you can lure him but he didn't leave the first time you approached him and your athletic department is run by a bunch of clowns.

Did we?

I'm pretty sure we figured no one would ever try to hire him again considering the amount of grief coupled with his penchant for job-hopping.

I’m still waiting in his “success”. Let me know when it happens so I don’t miss it.

Wtf? Are you always this stupid? This is Ol Miss, right? They went 11-2 and won a NY6 game, crushing Pedo St.

That’s success.

Kiffin got an opportunity at Blue Blood USC at the age of 35. He flubbed it.

Amazing that people forget about the brutal sanctions he inherited at USC. His 2 deep on defense were basically walk-ons by the end of year 2.
