I agree that they're expensive, but I think talented DL is more plentiful in the portal than OL. OM had 6 transfer DL last year that were the backbone of the team and 3 of them were drafted. OM hasn't had near that kind of success on transfer OL. Could just be my experience with it.

I’d really target high school OL. Most of the teams that build their line through the portal don’t turn out very good.

This is the correct answer and only answer.

Good OL are generally retained by their school and don't hop into the portal. Lack of talent and the fact that OL need to gel together to form a cohesive unit are reasons why portaling OL isn't a great strategy.

Really?

Did you see what he did with the team he had last year?

He beat #53, #45 & #6 and lost to #21 & #5 by 3 points.

Agreed. If the the list is strictly going off coaching ability, Lea is grossly underrated.

Cignetti beat one(!) team with a winning record last year and shot up to the top 25. Ridiculous.
I mean, A&M and Auburn have definitely been national embarrassments fairly recently

UCLA didn't even have a hosting worthy resume. Their odds are absolutely ridiculous. I doubt they make it out of their own regional
Good for him. Walked away from more money to have a chance at his dream of playing in the NFL.

Hope it works out for him.
Clemson should be locked in. They only have 2 good teams on their schedule this season in LSU and South Carolina. On the flip side, they can sleepwalk through their entire conference schedule and still make the CFP, so they don't necessarily need the win.
Can't pull him out of Ole Miss when he never even went to Ole Miss in the first place
This has to be sarcasm considering the fact that kiper is never right
lol

Nico's dad is obviously a big ole bitch boy
No different than Auburn football in the NIL era but you'll still be here during football season
OM has won 24 games this season and played 11 games against sweet 16 teams going 6-5 against them. None of that is cinderella territory
Really excited about OM's game against Michigan State. I think OM matches up well against them.

Would be absolutely wild for a basketball program with OM's pedigree to have wins against UNC, Iowa State, and Michigan State in the tournament.

Well it is a prerequisite to be an A&M milkman
Perhaps this can push A&M to the new heights of 9-3
You're basing the entire state of Louisiana on just New Orleans. If that's the case then you'd have to say the exact same for states with big cities like Georgia and Texas. Obviously Memphis goes without saying.

I travel a ton for work and South Louisiana is one of my favorite places to go. Great food and good people.
Exactly.

Indiana's SOS was in the 100s and they only beat one(!!!) team with a winning record all year while winning 11 games. The media still hyped them up as one of the best teams in the nation.

Allar was one of the better QBs in the country this year

Your QB bar must be set crazy low

I mean Brennan deserved a look but he wasn't going to play over Jordan Ta'amu or Matt Corral anyway

This will be fun to look back on after A&M goes 8-5 again.
