Say what you will but to paraphrase The Flintstones they are having a gay old time. I am happy for them.

Clicked on the practice link and learned all I need to know when the guy introduced himself as “Keller Cox”. Most Aggie yell leader name ever.

My father was a yell leader. Elected by the student body. Also served as a pilot in the Air Force before retiring to be a civil engineer. You can not understand the tradition all you want, not care that A&M was an all male military college for 80 years thus cheerleaders never were a thing, even call it super gay. Believe me, he’s heard it all. The fan base thinks differently and it’s typically a more coveted elected position at A&M than student body President.

So laugh if you want, really doesn’t bother Aggie fans. We get the tradition and enjoy the atmosphere it provides.

As much as I dislike the weirdo cultism of ATM, I can definitely respect this comment. If you're going to have strange/homoerotic traditions, go all in. Good for you Aggie. BTW, thanks for your dad's service.

Can I laugh and still be happy for them? I get the tradition and all. Makes sense, but it still makes it funny to an outsider.

No excuse. Notre Dame allows girls from the all-female St. Mary's College in South Bend to tryout for cheerleading. aTm could have found an alternative. They wouldn't have had to be aTm students.

I don't think people would give you shite just for having all-male cheerleaders. It's the stuff they do. Those two prancing across the stage in the background looked gay as frick,.

We have cheerleaders.

We have dancers.

They even let them onto Kyle Field.

But we also keep the tradition of yell leaders. To be honest, they're 10x more effective in getting the crowd to actually be loud than any cheerleaders I've seen.

Whatever. You get my point. It isn't that you have an all-male group. It's the utterly gay shite they do...the two guys prancing across the stage in the background being a classic example.

Lmao. One of my best friends went to A&M and even he acknowledges its gay as frick.

Yeah the yell leader thing and the milk men are definitely weird to me. But A&M is a school that I don’t really have a problem with. I still want my team to kick their arse though
