Used to look forward to bowl season. Blame Bama on this. This movement all started after Bama got their mulligan against LSU when they didn't even make their own conference championship game and 2 years later the playoff was born and gradually players started opting out and now schools. I will always blame Bama for this. Screw Mulligan U.

I don't know how it is for NCAA or especially NCAA football but when my son committed to play baseball at a JUCO; his official signing of the letter of intent was all done online. The signing at school was all for show. Maybe that is the case here.
It wasn't complete until AD signed, school president signed. Since he was under 18 at the time, I had to consent as well.

Not a word would be said. Just like the media obsession with Wade. They all know when LSU has the right people in place that our recruiting is top notch and the state borders are shut down while we are still able to raid top talent from other states. LSU has shown commitment to NIL as well. With Louisiana rich high school football and NIL, Lane has now been handed the keys to a program that can be on top again for a number of years.
