we have more money than everyone else and we are getting richer by the day. So if all that matters is money you might as well bow to your new overlords.

There are no doubt teams with the most money will be competing for titles. A&M tremendous pipeline of alumni willing to donate and raise money to put the program on top is in place. The NIL concept has simply allowed the richer teams to separate themselves with facilities and NIL contracts.

It's here and complaining daily will not change things

If they are throwing NIL money at recruits as speculated, if they are obeying the rules then give them credit

News for everyone, college sports has been headed this direction for decades, teams spending the most money on facilities and coaching staffs have been winning titles

Don't disagree with any of that. The real point is that A&M and many other schools can offer NIL opportunities for players. I do think it's a significant advantage for the bigger programs that have the resources to offer NIL opportunities. Where the massive eye roll happens is when folks act like A&M somehow is doing more and better than everyone else and it is the only reason recruits are coming to A&M while simply dismissing all the other factors.

Bama has money. LSU has money. Georgia has money. Texas has money. OU has money. UF has money. All have alumni and NIL opportunities, hell Saban was bragging about his QB making $1 million to the Texas HS Coaches Assn a year ago. Clemson made a huge deal about their QB getting paid for his national NIL deal. Texas had their little charity/NIL deal that pays OL. Top recruits are going to have opportunities to make money at any of the big programs and the idea that somehow it's a bidding war/free agency is very simplistic and honestly lazy. The good news is there are countless gifs on the internet that Aggies can use to make fun of people here that keep spouting their ignorance.

Nope, the only reason it can possibly be is paying players and that A&M doesn't deserve to recruit well.

It'd be pretty easy to get the offending boosters or millionaire 18 year olds to confess about this. They won't keep their mouths shut if someone would just ask. Members of the Rant, set up a GoFundMe to pay for a qualified lawyer to start asking questions and snapping photos of all the new Mercedes on campus. I'll contribute. But otherwise your jibber-jabber and sureness about this subject is as convincing to me as those who've seen UFOs.

Got it, only A&M cheats, Bama Georgia and LSU are all angels.

Sabin has recruited well from the get go at both LSU and Bama. Just tells me he knew how to cheat from the start and those schools obviously obliged him. You have to be naive not to think he cheats. Bear did as well of course. He did at A&M and he continued doing at Bama. Or are you going to think otherwise just to feel better about yourself.

Jimbo called out Sabin on his hypocrisy. Brags about his QBs NIL deals right of the start of NIL starting. Of course to use it for recruiting advantages. Then Sabin complains about NIL. Got it, good for Bama to use, not good for other schools to use.

And for the really dense, Jimbo knows all the cheating Sabin did at LSU. So he basically said, shut your mouth.

Same thing I have been saying all along on this class. For those aTm faithful I have one thing to say...

"In God We Trust, All others bring data."

The data has spoken!

Yeah, but your crew just can't seem to grasp that one recruiting class doesn't mean shite. Especially in the presence of the transfer portal.

Anything any Alabama person says relative to this, next to carrying water for the ultimate liar Saban, is utter horseshite and they have no credibility. Would have to be totally delusional on a Biden Bro level to actually believe everything Bama did was in line with the NCAA rule book the entire time Saban was there. It’s like Duke in basketball, we all know Duke is shady as hell in recruiting practices but the NCAA doesn’t call em out for some mystifying reason.

To be fair, yes they did.

Also to be fair, it's interesting to look at the trends starting with their first full recruiting class (a year after being hired).

Jimbo at Texas A&M

2019: 4
2020: 6
2021: 8
2022: 1

Kirby at Georgia

2017: 3
2019: 1
2020: 2
2020: 1

Jimbo and staff have a great school and program to sell. Started off in 2018 with. 23rd ranked recruiting class. Since then #4, #6, #8. All of which were mere percentage points from being higher ranked classes. So being #1 isnt that’s big of a step. Sure NIL helps, but being the biggest, richest school in the SEC, with incredible facilities, the Aggie network, and a competitive program is more a factor. Compare to LSU, with the last three years of the #3, #4, #5 recruiting classes to post 11 wins in the last two years combined.

You've lost 2 of your last 3 to LSU in those years.

Gotta love sidewalk, make the facts fit your narrative. A&M has won two of the last 4 against LoserSU. Both times with Mond at QB. Mond even beat LoserSU’s golden boy Burrow in a 7OT arse whipping .

The recruiting game has changed. Why are we still on this?

A&M's recruiting hurts other teams a lot more than Alabama and LSU so why are those two so consistently harping on it?
