Florida St. is the game right off the bat that makes or breaks the season.

After that, it's Georgia.

It’s not South Carolina.

Sellers got hurt against LSU and had he not gotten hurt, theory would have sailed past us.

Every week is a big game.

Lose to NMSU and you find out it was a big game.

I'll say Georgia Tech. Well, it may not be 'overlooked' as much this season after we had to come from behind in the 4th quarter and then it took 8 overtimes to put them away last season.

That was probably a more crushing defeat for them than all of the bullwhippings we've administered for the better part of a decade because they pretty much had us beat. They'll definitely be a bit salty coming into this game. But again, fortunately, I don't think we'll waltz into that game taking anything for granted after that scare.

Definitely an unfortunate injury for SC last year.

Who gets to be the “how the hell did we just lose to Arkansas?” team this year?

You got absolutely smoked against Oklahoma. Your team flew all the way to Norman, kicked a field goal, and then flew back home.

This would concern me too. They aren't the Memphis of old. They have become a pretty significant G5 program. They have the ability to sneak up on P4 teams.

@Florida in week 5. This is honestly the second hardest game on our schedule behind UGA. UF is poised for a great season and return a lot of pieces.

OP gave solid rationale for overlooking Oklahoma.

South Carolina is nearly 100 games under .500 in SEC play. Dogshit programs don’t get to overlook anyone especially the Oklahoma’s of the world. You’re a filler school thst extended the conference into a new state. The Mizzou of the 20th century.

I said this last year and agree again this year. I think the fanbase got so used to just penciling in the W they haven't noticed Tech quietly getting better and rolling out a modern offense. And there is no doubt they are hungry.

I'm going to go the opposite direction, but its still being overlooked in terms of difficulty for State.

Week 2, at home against Arizona State

Arizona State won 30-23 last year in Tempe. Skattebo just destroyed us He had 33 cares for 262. ASU does not return him, but they do return their QB, Sam Leavitt, who was only 10-20 for 68 yards against State.

I think its a decent shot at an early season upset for the SEC. Its a game that everyone is penciling in as a sure L, but I think Arizona State takes a major step back. State will go 0-8 or 1-7 in the SEC, but they have a shot at pulling this one out.

nah. For sure Prison Orange will lose 2 or 3 this year. But they won't lose to Oklahoma.

I think most Georgia fans realize everyone on the schedule is probably as good or better this year than last and Georgia may or may not be. If Stockton or someone ain't as advertised UGA could lose 3-4.

It's probably Oklahoma for everyone... I'd say it's definitely the case for LSU.

I get it, they're down, WAY down by their standards. LSU torched them in Tiger Stadium, in probably the best, most complete game the Tigers played last year.

But... it's still Oklahoma.
