This is what it looks like when greedy pigs answer to absolutely no one.

I don't disagree but there will be a bloodshed battle to be included and I don't think we'd get away with just 60. I think even 64 will be a fight but at least if you had 16 team conferences you could standardize on the 9 game schedule with everyone adopting the 3 + 6 format so that any player in conference gets to go visit all 15 stadiums if they played all 4 years. Each conference plays the CCG they all get byes for winning the conference and then we pick the best 8 at large teams from the conferences and let them duke it out to go play the conference champions.

That way you preserve some sanctity of the regular season meaning something.

I don't see UNC leaving Duke behind.

they will if it makes sense for them. leaving for a different conference doesn't mean that they can't continue their rivalry and schedule matchups

Eventually Georgia, Alabama and Ohio state will get tired of sharing money with northwestern, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.

It’s a whole a new era and way of doing things, the whole thing needs to be scrapped, take the roughly 60-65 teams that drive 90 percent of cfb viewership and from there you can look at who you’ve got and figure out how to proceed.

UVA over VT and I’m ok with it

After living in Virginia for 11 years I can assure you no one cares about Virginia football. Virginia Tech has actual fans. It’s an academic and very liberal school first and foremost. VA Tech vs UT in Bristol is an event.
