About 40% of American's do not drink at all (including myself), so I think your numbers are a bit high (pun intended)....

There is a reason I don't come on these boards on gameday. Because the % is very high of drunk posters.

I see a business opportunity... Biometric device for your phone/computer that disables your ability to post on social media/message boards/forums/etc. when you BAC is above the legal limit (been a few times I could have used this.) Similar to the devices that disable automobiles.

Difficult to gauge. Drunk and Stupid often appear identical online.

The later it gets on Saturday nights the drunker it gets. If the 7 oclock conference games are big ones and close it is noticeably drunker...its about as harmless as drunk gets, most posters are probably at home so they ain't driving....
