I bet a lot more Ole Miss fans make the trip than Miami fans. Wish I could go.

Probably

But Miami has a ton of fans in every city that crawl out of the sewer when they're in town, so that might close the gap

I was planning to go with my brother tomorrow but Im outside a hospital waiting on my youngest to be admitted so Im backing out.

Hoping everything will be good to go so I can go to the orange bowl and national championship.

I was definitely going until about 4 hours ago.

Yeah Sugar Bowl was probably close to 70% Ole Miss fans. Obviously NOLA is a big alum base for Ole Miss fans and is close.

Would be incredible if the locations would have been switched and Ole Miss/Miami was in ATL. Would be another Ole Miss home game.

One too many Georgia fans were saving their money for the Fiesta Bowl or the title game, even though Ole Miss was beating Georgia by two possessions a few months before that in Sanford Stadium. Full credit to Golding. Ole Miss played with way more heart and reslliency than they did in the first game.

For some reason I'd been convinced all month that we'd win. But then about 3 hours before kickoff, I got worried because I wasn't more worried, and that's usually when Georgia loses big games.

Going!

We don’t get this opportunity often. Just like the baseball run, I’m in it until we’re out it.

For some reason I was on the opposite side. I am usually cautiously optimistic at best and often a NegaRebel but before I left for NOLA, I was at a bar and a buddy's wife asked me what bets to make. I told her to parlay the Ole Miss ML and the over.

She only bet the over though.

I am going and know about 10 others from DFW on my flight. Can't make Miami if it happens so this is it for me. Was in Oxford for game 1 and did not go to Sugar Bowl.

A lot of Rebel fans will probably be going. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity for Ole Miss. Ole Miss will be the crowd favorite because Miami doesn’t have a ton of fans that travel. They’re a bandwagon team.

The CFP model is hard on the fans.

So true. Which is why they desperately need to do away with bowls and make it entirely on campus, to the higher seed's stadium. Would partially offset how much the regular season has been ruined.

On my way from Florence, AL. Driving. Overnight tonight in Amarillo. To Tempe tomorrow. Making a vacation out of it. Not sure when we'll go back.
