You act like this is surprising. It's a home game for you. You have two players you're pimping for the Heisman.
Just a reminder. The game is played on the field not on the oddsmakers computers.
It's pretty much a toss up game which is what the line indicates.
It seems like you're almost whistling past the graveyard.

Vegas gives the home team 3 points. You are an underdog on a neutral field per Vegas.

Well that wraps it congrats on winning the bookmakers bowl.

Vegas sets it at about what the outcome should be based on their computer models. They also want even betting on both sides of the line which is what causes the line to move. Smart money moves the line. So if the line is egregious you would see significant movement.
You need to acknowledge that Vegas had the LSU-Clemson line a 10.5.
They get it wrong every single day, but it's impossible to know with 100% certainty which ones Vegas is getting wrong.
You grasping at this as proof you are the better team is sad and funny at the same time. I truly hope Ole Miss is favored at kick-off.

Look ahead lines are separate than the week of lines
Some of those are just for reference and won’t let you bet them.
Take OU Michigan for example. All off-season and even up to Saturday morning it was Michigan -2.5
Circa resets the market when they release their spreads around noon on Sunday for the upcoming week
Just a day later the actual line was reset to OU -6.5

I have to admit, this shocks me.

Are those the lines? If so my understanding is that -3 is for home field advantage— you’re getting less than a home field advantage, it seems to me the odds makers have this as a pickem game.

Interested to see if this gets to -3 for ole miss.

Again, the real line will come come out Sunday.
Vegas sets Home field by venue on how many points you get. Playing at Rutgers is not the same as playing at night in Death Valley. I saw a chart one time. Homefield ranged from 2 to 4 points.

The highest you could go on my book was LSU -31.5. +670. It was a fantastic payout on $100 bet. I had a great feeling about the game, and the rain delay with the extra liquid courage made placing the bet a little easier.
Will play something similar for LSU Ole Miss. Those country bumps really want to beat Lane, but no one is talking about how badly Lane will want to hand it to them. Tigers by 1000

Ole Miss had a lot of key starters go out on defense which led to a lot of the busts. Fix the blown assignments on defense and let Trinidad ball. Once this team puts it all together it’s gonna be scary.
Good, I wan there to be no excuses

No way lsu is not the favorite in this game. I’m just hoping ole Miss can keep it close
Vegas is saying it's Ole Miss and I understand that. It'll be a huge homefield advantage with that environment and it is Ole Miss' Super Bowl this year. They've been gameplanning for it all Spring, Summer, and Fall camps.
I have a lot more confidence in that game after Saturday, but it's not surprising Vegas has them as the favorite still.

Vegas said we would beat Clemson by 10.5 points.
They only missed by 30.5 points.
