This has ended up being the ultimate troll. I’m living rent free in your head.

This guy is so obsessed with me I’m starting to think that a UGA Alum banged his wife.

How many times is this topic gonna be first broached and subsequently explained? Some people can’t be reached.

Explaining why your acceptance rate is so high doesn’t make it less funny.

While true, the OM administration supports this because it allows the rejects from Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, etc., to easily gain admission and pay out of state tuition.
There are between 350,000 and 400,000 people who live in Tennessee within 75 miles of Oxford, MS. There are parts of West Tennessee that are about as close to Oxford than they are any FBS school in Tennessee:
Example - Shiloh, TN Distance to:
Ole Miss - 119 miles
Memphis - 105 miles (you have to drive through Mississippi for the closest route)
Vandy - 149 miles
MTSU - 150 miles
So, if you could chose to drive 14 miles further to go to Ole Miss instead of Memphis...wouldn't you choose that?
The closest part of the Texas State Line to Oxford is around 400 miles away.
The closest part of the Georgia State Line to Oxford is around 300 miles away.
So...I if you are coming there from Texas or Georgia, it isn't for convenience.
According to this demographic survey, only 30% of Ole Miss' undergraduate enrollment is from the state of Mississippi. Ole Miss has a 72% on-time graduation rate...which is by far the highest in the state.
I will add that I have a cousin from Kentucky who graduated from there a few years ago and her brother is a Freshman there this year. They liked they were both excellent students and wanted to go somewhere different than where they grew up. They really liked the campus and the programs there. The one that has already received her degree from there is graduating from dental school soon.

It’s nice seeing State universities actually be accessible to the kids from their state.

I am personally guaranteeing that Ole Miss will beat Texas.

And if Texas somehow wins, I will never return to this website.
