At least they don’t think they’re better than others. School is to teach students, not be some elite social club which is what some of these public schools are trying to be. Only accept 25 to 30% of applicants as a public school? That’s insane. I can understand a private school doing that but not a public

It's Mississippi so you people from all over Mississippi. Then, you have a lot of out of state mainly from Bama, GA, TN, TX. Mix in some more like CA or FL and you have a student body.
