You know it, I know it, ole Miss fans know it, the whole damn world knows it.

And this is the source of their butthurt. They know last year was the one and only chance to sit at the big boy table and they pushed Lane right into our lap. They blew it big time and probably won’t get another opportunity in any of our lifetimes.

Having watched Lane in every big time game he coached in since 2021, there's more evidence that would point towards the moment being too big for him and Ole Miss shitting the bed.

Moreover, Ole Miss lost to Miami because Miami won the LOS on both sides of the ball. Not sure Lane could have helped that. If that's Charlie's fault, then well, congrats on your OC hire.

Lane would have 100% lost the Sugar Bowl because he would not have tried the long FG's that proved to be the difference. That is an absolute fact.

If your dad let you drive a car they he built in his garage... does that make it yours? No, it doesn't.

All Peter did was drive the car Lane built.

Not really, maybe he scores a TD on one of those drives, maybe he kicks the field goals. He only went for it once in the first matchup, prior to the final drive, and was successful.

The real difference in the first matchup was the defense giving up 43 points or whatever.

I see you haven’t watched kiffin and Weis nuts shrivel up in a big game. He would’ve ran HB direct snap to a fatass dlineman for no gain on 4th and 4

Why?

They didn't do that in the first matchup.

I think we hated him ending up at Bama...not hating him as a person. At least that is how I have always felt. OM absolutely hates LK

LSU fans burned Saban in effigy. Maybe you didn’t hate him as a person, but way more than a handful of LSU fans did.

all LSU fans, hate or not, respected Saban and were grateful for what he did. It hurt that he left for the dolphins on christmas day no less but the hate came when he returned to Bama. Bama was an absolute dumpster fire at the time. I bet if he was to get hired by Tenn or Auburn bama fans would burn him effigy.

Nobody left Ole Miss before a national title game. It was Pete "Playoff" Golding that made sure Ole Miss didn't make it to a national title game with the best team in Ole Miss's history, and he's still in charge.

This is rich because you have no clue what had transpired over the previous 18 months. Two things you may want to review:

- What did Lane do the previous year that greatly impacted the teams performance?
- What was the NIL split between the offense and defense last year? Would money spent paying for 3 WRs who never saw the field been better utilized on the Defensive back-field?
