Pete did what Lane couldn't and beat UGA during last season. Almost beat Miami. Lane is good but takes extreme chances. We keep the defense that has been solid and get an OC off the Lane tree along with the HC of the offense. I like our chances. Wait until Lane blows a 4th down and y'all lose a game you shouldn't. Should be fun to watch.

Is a National Title relevant or not? LSU fans have been crowing about last year's baseball title in response to shitting the bed this year so make up your god damn minds

You were literally just trying to give relevancy to a national title from 1960.

Not according to your fellow Ole Miss poster right above you.

I didn't the NCAA did. You were the one who said it was the best OM team of all time. Does an undefeated title trump a two loss team? Simple even for your Neanderthal frontal cortex influenced by your toxic Louisiana air.

There's an LSU fan right above him

You're the one who doesn't care about someone beating their wife, not me. Then y'all clutch your pearls over Todd Golden.

The 2 loss 2025 Ole Miss team would destroy the undefeated 1960 team's will to finish the game, and everyone knows that. Two completely different times and styles of football. Last year's team beats the 1960 team 10 out of 10 times.
Look, if you want to keep arguing that the 1960 team was better than a Pete "Playoff" Golding coached team, then be my guest.

Who is Todd and what did he do? Did he hit a mouthy broad as well?

You were the one who said it was the best OM team of all time. Who are you trying to convince?

With a better Defense, Heisman contender QB, best RB in the country and 3 of 5 O lineman back?
Yall are the one with the huge question marks.

I remember a time when Saban left and Miles took over and won a National Championship. Everybody (non-LSU fans) were screaming he won with Saban's players. I guess that narrative doesn't exist for Golding these days.

I think we hated him ending up at Bama...not hating him as a person. At least that is how I have always felt. OM absolutely hates LK

Sounds like 2025 A&M baseball.
They had great success the year prior, head coach left for a rival, young assistant was promoted, the majority of the talent came back, and all was great.

Two different scenarios. Was Miles on staff during the time of recruitment for those players? No. Was Pete? Yes. Did Saban go to a rival and immediately start recruiting the players away from LSU? No. Did Kiffin? Yes.
The players chose Pete over Kiffin. Listen to the players.
