Not only is that the more realistic goal but I feel like a flip flop is coming in that department soon. Maybe not this year but next.

Bama fans better worry about the very obvious downward trajectory of their own program.

Oh its coming, Ole Miss can lying to themselves but they hired Les Miles 2.0..Pete will do good with Kiffins players, then the wheels will start coming off

It’s going to level out a bit. Ole piss was very good early on at the NIL game and couple that with them hitting gold on the Kiffin hire for six years. Coming NIL regulations will also level things out. However, their fan base cares more about football than state fans so that advantage will always be there.

This kind of retarded take is what I expect from someone that spends an exorbitant amount of time in gas station lines ordering menthols and scratch-offs.

I know that Les Miles is a great Punchline...dude Coached in the National Championship as an undefeated team a short 7 seasons after Nick Saban left.

I'm sure that Ole Miss would kill to have that kind of carry over.

And you think Orgeron was responsible for that undefeated season? Your OC and generational QB and some great receivers did that on auto pilot.

The stupidity of LSU fans knows no bounds.

LSU fans should be hoping Kiffin can be close to Les Miles.

114-34 in 12 years as a coach (really 11). For the math challenged LSU fans (all of you) that’s quite a few years beyond “Sabans players”. He also won a natty and played for another.

Thank you LSU for always being the most entertaining retard in the room.

Yea coaches aren't responsible for their W/L record.

The only coach that could win there since the 1960’s has left them but yet they expect to be a “perennial powerhouse”

Dumb as a post but aware enough to see what he fell into and stayed out of the way.

Les Miles was the head coach during LSU’s most successful 3 year stretch in program history. Sure it had a lot to do with the recruiting classes that Saban left him. But Les Miles 34-6 record between 2005-2007 was better than any three year stretch in any other LSU coach’s tenure, even Saban.

Your comment is as much a gotcha for LSU as it is Ole Miss.
