Oklahoma team win total

I’ve consumed about every college radio pod and show the last couple weeks and I’ve heard every single prediction possible from reporters and writers, and one thing that has been consistent is they all think Oklahoma is a legit title contender.
Almost every prediction is 10-2/11-1 and even the fans are predicting 10-12 wins on every “predict your team record” I’ve seen.
The thing that’s interesting is their Vegas win total is 7.5. I can’t ever remember a team get so much national championship love that is a 7.5 win total.
That has to be the easiest bet of all time, right? They will be favored in 10/11 games. I think they smoke Michigan and they are a horrible matchup for UGA and will win that.
They will easily fall into 8-9 wins without trying.

Pickel at on3 has OU vs Uga in sec title game … Texas picked to finish just like last year with 3 losses .

The defense is just as good or better than last year, the offense is better than last year, special teams is equivalent to last year. However the schedule is even tougher than last year, Mich will be tougher with the hire of the U tah coach ( last year Sooners physically bullied Mich at every position ), Georgia is on the schedule this year, Texas’s should be better than last year, ole Miss still has the quick dual threat QB…..so we will see if the improved Team overcomes the tougher schedule….I predict 11-1.

The writers may have us at 10-11 wins based on eyeballs, but Vegas is using actual computations/odds by studying our schedule (brutal,) past history, and other data.

Your payout is significantly less on the over 7.5 bet than the under 7.5 bet.
Drcent chance they start season 2-3 with road games at Michigan and Georgia and neutral site vs Texas. Then two of their more beatable opponents, Mississippi St and Missouri are road games so those may not be easy. 7-5 is not a crazy prediction for OU.
