The importance of stadium capacity has been going down for years. Amenities are where the future is because retention is where things are now. When OU did their last stadium renovation, it reduced capacity but added better seating, more boxes and suites. The days of trying to stuff as many fans in the stadium are gone and not coming back
Alabama and A&M have both
Those plus the rest will be packed to the gils when you visit.

MOJO...you've lost your mojo.
Why do you insist on making SEC fans hate y'all more than they already do? Why be obnoxious like Texas?
Don't be like the Moo Moo's.
Better enjoy your scrimmage win while you can...'cause, this is coming y'all's way.

Why? Why continue to poke the bear with dumb shite like this? The real OU fans are trying to find our way and fit in and enjoy this transition, but douche canoes like this continue to put a target on all OU fans’ backs for no damn reason. Stop acting like we’re coming into this conference and going to destroy everyone. We need to take the time we have to beef up the lines, play some fricking defense, and get ready for a schedule we’ve never had to navigate through. Let’s get our shite together to come in as prepared as we can. I’ve said it a million times, but I’m looking forward to the tailgates and meeting new fan bases. I think there’s a couple teams that would make really interesting rivalry games. But please stop doing this. You’re giving the rest of us a bad name

Right up there with Douche-nozzle, which I feel fits the OP better.

What did I say that will effect you n any way? I believe everything I said and as a OU fan why on earth are you worried about the past …. Venables is our coach and it sounds like you are not on the train…..
Lastly if you stopped worrying about what everyone else thinks of you you may enjoy life a little bit more. I have been on the board for years and took a lot of slack when we lose ….. nice to see you here and all but if you don’t know what your talking about then maybe you should open your mouth just saying …… don’t be scared

I honestly don’t care what people think of me. However, when you continually come on here and say stupid shite, it gives OU fans a bad name. As for not being on board, you must be fricking high or something. I’ve been on here singing Brent’s praises about the culture change and what we have going forward. I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about the fact that you’re replacing Kansas, K-State, Texas Tech and Iowa State with Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, etc. This schedule will be much harder week in and week out. And what did I say about the past? I’m talking about what must be done to compete in this league. And I don’t think you should be telling anyone they don’t know what they’re talking about

Hiring a coordinator works out about 15 pct of the time.

Yeah I wouldn't be doing that shite if I were an Oklahoma fan. Completely cringe.
Texas on the other hand? We're beating Bama this year. SEC is completely fricked moving forward.

MOJO and UCFSadKnight have to be the same person. No one should truly brag about game attendance numbers.

To a certain point we all do. Which is why you chose to respond.

Oklahoma, maybe to their credit is doing things to be aggressive and market to the upswing they're going to need to get/hold attention to their brand in SEC...$50K per player NIL, big push spring game.
When OK/Tenn had home/away series a few years ago, I saw where their fans fit SEC passion. Not sure about on the field...we'll see.
Texas on the other hand...

Free speech is when someone says something you don’t like.......
Just speak for yourself, build a rep for intelligent, concise, cogent statements that have that kernel of truth that cuts through the BS....
What MOJO says is inspiring in its enthusiasm. As one who has suffered through the Lincoln Riley degradement of the Sooners, I am also truly impressed with the new direction of Oklahoma football.......Boomer....
BTW if I had to guess we won’t be in the SEC till July 2024, when the Big 12 would have added 4 new teams.....I doubt the Big 12 would want a full conference schedule plus two more guaranteed losses to Oklahoma and TexASS...

Bud Wilkinson, Chuck Fairbanks, Barry Switzer, Bob Stoops, Gary Gibbs, and Lincoln Riley were all coordinators when hired to be HC. OU has had great success choosing high profile college coordinators as HC, it has always been the strategy. Venables seems to fit the bill.
Stoops 191-48
Switzer 157-29-4
Wilkinson 145-29-4
Fairbanks 52-25-1
Riley 55-10
Gibbs 44-23-2
