I am hoping for these 3:

1. Ole Miss, traditionally for LSU, it’s the closest thing we have to a rival, adjacent state

2. Arkansas, good series, adjacent state

3. Either Florida or Auburn, great series with both schools (neither will happen as I think they will pair us with the Aggies)

The third is debatable:
Arkansas - perhaps...play Thanksgiving weekend as they did for 20+ years.
Oklahoma - Both teams need a Thanksgiving weekend opponent and currently don't have a dance partner
Florida - Pretty solid rival but Fla will likely have Georgia and Tennessee so probably not.

I'm going to guess Oklahoma.

Aren't they going by tiers? 2 tiers. So, if you're tier 1, you get 2 tier 1s and a tier 2. If you're tier 2, you get 2 tier 2s and a tier 1. In that case, you likely get us for your 3rd, if Ole Miss is tier 1 or Oklahoma if Ole Miss is tier 2. It depends on the criteria they use for choosing. I think it's on a 4-year cycle, so OM is probably tier 1 right now.

This is what I find ironic.

Not to single you out, as I have no idea where you stood on the matter, but, after all these years of Auburn fans complaining about being in the West and how that separated Auburn from its historic rivals, now, when you have the chance to pick up, say, Florida, as your 3rd annual opponent, Auburn says, "Thanks, but we'd prefer Vandy."

Give me LSU, Texas, and Ole Miss. But if Ole Miss is Tier 1, we may get South Carolina or Mizzou for our tier 2 team.

From the UK perspective, we just don't hate you guys. We hate Kansas too, so, you know....

We can't stand Drink, I will say that. And the football games have been great with y'all. Basketball wise.....we don't really see anyone as our peer in this conference. We hate Tennessee and Arkansas and I guess Florida. Baseball....pretty much just Tennessee we hate.

I've experienced Mizzou fans come here to play us in all 3 sports. Yall are by far the nicest and most will behaved visiting fan base I've seen.

So while I think every Kentucky fan agrees that Tennessee and Vanderbilt are musts for us, the third team is a bit more murky. South Carolina is probably atop the leader board. I would say Missouri would be second because yall do make sense for us. But we wouldn't look at you as rivals in a hateful sense. Missouri folks seem to be alright by us
