Both of you represent the great state of Texas. As a neutral observer for 25+ years, I have concerns. You clearly have issues and have lost your love for each other. It's very unbecoming. Now's a great time to put your past behind you, set aside your differences, let bygones be bygones and heal your relationship.

The University of Texas is a good school and a well recognized brand. Everyone in the nation knows the orange longhorn. It's as well known as the golden arches. And while Texas might not have all the competitive advantages it once enjoyed, I am sure they will try hard and be a worthy opponent.

Don't really give a shite about any of the bickering anymore now that we'll be playing at least once per year in football, twice per year in basketball and thrice per year in baseball. Should be some exciting competition

I know I give you a lot of shite on this board but I too am looking forward to playing tsip again on an annual basis. I have good friends who are 'sips and we have always had fun talking smack with each other around Thanksgiving. I wish the rivalry had not ended when we moved to the SEC.

Texas-A&M is by far the best Thanksgiving game matchup and it was a shame it got put on hiatus for a while…
