The Southeastern Conference has added Attorney General Liz Murrill to a federal lawsuit seeking to stop LSU from adding players who had been involved in professional football teams, arguing she and other Louisiana state officials have been interfering with the conference’s ability to regulate its members.

The SEC sued LSU last week, arguing the university is violating its members’ First Amendment right to free association by working to block conference officials from enforcing rules against ex-pros joining college rosters.

The SEC must have really solid evidence of collusion if this is happening along with talks with ESPN/Disney about a future without LSU.

Some bad shite behind the scenes we don’t know about publicly must have happened in order to get to this point. The league, Sankey and presidents wouldn’t be going this HAM so fast for nothing

SEC is gonna depose all the people who orchestrated this shite and humiliate them under oath at a minimum.

They’re operating like a SWAC program.

It's either that or they're throwing everything against the wall and hoping something sticks.

If the SEC "loses power" here, then it will eventually just dissolve leading to a super conference. Maybe the SEC has a leg to stand on, maybe this is their Alamo.

Shes significantly smarter than Sankey who under oath fumbled to explain what a pro athlete is or what the 5 for 5 ruling is even about.

She will be fine.
