This poll is valid until Saturday night and then it means absolutely nothing. To many big games this week. There will be a lot of chaos. Everyone should just calm down. We are not even close to seeing major changes in the cFP poll this year.

The biggest takeaway of the night is that the committee hates Notre Dame and if they lose to Miami and finish 10-2 they won't sniff the top 12.
Their schedule absolutely sucks and that bitch fest they threw last year certainly soured the committee on them.

My HC in year 1 has us #6 in the CFP. That sure as shite beats the expectations that a lot of us thought our ceiling was 6 wins.

The biggest note to me in these rankings is Notre Dame. If they lose to Miami it’s realistic they miss the top 12. That would be a refreshing change.

I presume Alabama is #5 solely on the fact that we beat the team they want at #6 by a hefty margin.

I don't really understand it. At least last year their 3rd loss was in the seccg and they had a signature win over UGA.
