Schedule a real OOC to make up for the trash big 12 and then you can complain.

Typical Longhorn bullshite. Tech has beaten two top 25 teams but since they are not sec I guess it doesn’t matter. Texas at 7 is a joke, Alabama at 5 is worse.

Everyone seems to be ignoring ND at 11. So if they lose to Miami on Sat, it seems like they're out of the CFP?
If they lose to Miami they might finish the season having played 4 or 5 teams with a winning record and losing to 2 of them with zero ranked wins.

They should be behind every 9-3 SEC team in that case.

It looks like the committee at least took sos heavily into account
Anyways, so much is left to be said yet.

This is comically bad, but it will all wash out.

Hopefully.

That's a big "Prove it!" to Notre Dame. I like that. Man, that 24 team bracket looks fun. Play Tortilla Tech for a shot at Georgia. I like it.

And yet your sos is still garbage. You control your OOC yet you schedule no one, then rely on playing a few top 15-25 matchups every year while the sec gauntlet is 5-7.

As a longhorn fan I know the difference between the sec and most importantly what’s left of the big 12 and its immense.

It’s very obvious Alabama is ranked so high so even with a third loss they can still make the playoffs. The Bama bias is very real.

Andre Ware reported a CFP stat last Saturday night. Said that comparing the first issue of each CFP poll, typically 3 of the first 12 teams will not make the playoffs. There will be one team not in the first 12 that will emerge into the CFP playoff.

No they shouldn’t. The committee set precedent when they kept Florida State out after Jordan Travis got hurt. Sayin is out for the year and Ohio State looked like a mediocre team without him last weekend. They honestly should be lower.

Tech has home wins over #22 Houston and #22 Arizona. Tech has no remaining ranked opponents.

Texas has home wins over #1 Ohio St., #7 Ole Miss, and road win over #14 Tennessee. Texas has two remaining ranked opponents.

Texas Tech should probably focus on developing a stronger schedule so as to enhance their resume.
