You think a gut whose started a couple of years wouldn't be the least bit pissed that a gut whose never stated a game has already banked a $1 million.

Not sure how well this plays in the locker room.
What's he going to do? Stop inviting him to the weekly orgy? No double dates? The guy will either suck it up and do his best, or mope, slack off, and lose playing time.

Will Young now be held accountable by the fans if he does not play well? Can you imagine Saban's reaction??

Damn you’re right. Bama fans have never been tough on a player

Not that simple and far more subtle than that and if this turns racial
it could get very ugly.

You're also gonna have guys competing for media time on TV,radio.podcasts,etc.

College football is pretty dead to me now. They are just hired pros playing under the school banner.

Racial? Where do you see any race issue here?
Seems like they are all getting a piece of the pie?

And this has exactly what to do with a player whose already pocketed a million and hasn't started a game?

If your coach can't handle a simple jealousy issue, then he's the one that's overpaid, not the player.

1. There should be in season free agency including in game transfers.
2. There should be no limits on NIL at all. No $ limit, no “morals” clause, etc. Make money however you can.
3. NIL should start in the Pop Warner leagues. It’s never to early to get Braxton ready for his college career.
4. In season awards could be made by highest bidders. “SEC CocaCola Offensive Playr
Of the Week” gets cash.

Ya can't be this naive.EVERYTHING is racial these days and if Bryce walks away with far more money and endorsments than other black teammates, the card will be played.
Not by his teammates (publicly) or the coaching but certainly by ESPN and the likes of Stephen A Smith.

Your laughing, but wait till HS players in the Rivals 250, ESPN 300, 247 composite top 300 etc start wanting NIL. These Recruiting analysis start getting some money from the Parents to bump their ratings, the NIL value goes up and the recruiting analyst start getting kick backs.

We think AAU basketball is corrupt, and it is, this is going to make that look a bunch of Church Choirs.

Churches could get in on the NIL deal for players. Sometimes in the past large amounts of money have been given to churches to “help” with various expenses.

Is the coach going to handle the problems when the players mom and siblings that were living in a Section 8 apartment moves to town with the player

You don't think the poor players parents aren't going to want a piece of that pie and all the problems that go along with it for the player?
