You don't understand the problem. The Cal schools (UCLA/Cal), Stanford, Vandy, etc have such large endowment's and budgets that they will never fund the football program like an SEC school. Texas is an anomaly with athletics. These other schools will be forced to invest in facilities, etc or drop down like Harvard, etc. The University of Alabama depends on the football team for marketing the University. Stanford makes more on their investments than everyone in the SEC combined minus Texas and Vandy. Stanford will never care about sports.
Wrong. Stanford has one of the most prolific athletic depts. in the entire country. Stanford's not at any "crossroads" at all! In fact, they're one of the few schools in the country that could probably operate without any revenue. The Alumni (donors) are extremely proud of their sports accomplishments, and can/will be successful in spite of all the changes.

Founding member and a private school. Yeah, Miami would be better but they had their chance in the early 90s and declined.

It's amazing how arrogant Texas fans are, down to the last man

On this board you're being played for a
fool by a whole host of alters, especially
supposedly Texas fans. If you see a
joining date of July, 2021 be wary of responding
to the real thing. I don't
like Texas coming into the conference but
I also don't like deceivers, fakers, stirring the
pot for their own amusement.

Vandy is 8-3-1 against UT-Austin in football. Five of those games were shut outs. Largest margin of victory, 45-0.

Because we couldn’t play the vaunted schedule of Kansas, Baylor, Kansas state, Iowa state, and TTU every year

I doubt this is a Texas fan, probably a aggy poser

Why, every tu fan I’ve ever come across is exactly that arrogant. It’s a disease at tu.

Probably because your fan base spent the last 2 weeks acting like a virgin that got her cherry popped and won't leave you the f*ck alone afterwards.

And I have no problem with Vanderbilt, I'm looking forward to the baseball games. And Nashville

They make the other SEC bottom feeders like Kentucky, Misery, Arkansas, Tennessee look like powerhouses by comparison.

Why didn't Texas get rid of about 7 of the BIG 12 teams. Vandy is better than those teams. Crap. You came from a conference with Kansas and you want to complain about Vanderbilt?

Leading out your statement as "Not trolling" is like "I'm a staunch conservative" or "I'm as liberal as the next guy".

Anybody with half a brain knows the next word is "but" - which means everything before that is bullshite.
