Well that pretty much guarantees a loss to vandy for the horns. Never sleep on them as they beat someone they arent supposed to every year.

That and they run rings around your vaseball program.

lol, Big 12 mentality.

Vandy is a charter member, you will kiss their rings and you will like it.

Charter member. Texas will get the boot before Vandy.

They may be bad at football, but every conference needs its bottom feeders. Just look at TCU. Oh wait... they WERE an FCS/mid-major just a decade ago. How have y'all faired against them since then?

Yet you insist on quoting early 20th century football records against A&M.

Since 1975 (almost 50 years ago), A&M has a winning record against Texas.

Am I doing it right?

They make the other SEC bottom feeders like Kentucky, Misery, Arkansas, Tennessee look like powerhouses by comparison.

Yes, they have strong academics. So do the Ivy League schools, but no one will confuse Harvard football with Alabama. Back in the days of amateur athletics perhaps academics mattered, not anymore. Bet half of these kids today don't even go to classes.

They're good in baseball, but who cares? Football drives this bus.

Not dissing Vanderbilt, it's by far the best school in the SEC but they have never seemed like a good fit. Now as we transition from amateur athletics to the age of professionalism with players making more top university administrators, it's increasingly obvious that Vanderbilt is a square peg in a round hole.

Get this straight. Everyone loves Vandy. Have some self awareness. Read the room. Can the same be said of Texas. Y’all really should shut up. I mean really.

Instead of dissing Vandy, why don't you explain your record vs.TCU over the last 9-10 games?

I think a better question is this..

If you are Vanderbilt, do you listen if the B1G calls? They are an AAU school in a congruent state and a baseball school. They could reap a lot of academic benefits with the CIC and shared research dollars.. They would still be a baseball school. Assuming the athletic money is about the same, do you listen?

Vanderbilt is here to stay unless they choose to go to the B1G.

I hope they stay. Great school. Great baseball (despite the stupid Whistler) and Texas needs to correct that football record that they have against us..
