The committee guidelines that EVERYONE knew about listed “injuries to key players” were to be a key consideration for possible selection. FSU lost arguably the MOST key player any of the contenders could possibly lose. 1000% correct to leave them out.

It’s the same situation at Clemson. It’s not only firing the HC but buyouts for everyone else plus the cost of bringing in a new staff. Also if you aren’t going to fund a competitive NIL then why bother spend on the transition. It will cost them over $100 million to do it correctly.

What’s his buyout? I know FSU is cheap when it comes to paying for this stuff. At least the school’s unwillingness or inability to open the coffers was always Jimbo’s ire with FSU.

FSU spends worse than LSU, they just don't have money. Being in the state capitol, they usually figure out a way to finagle it out the state somehow through the politicians. They will try anything. Not too long ago they even tried ot screw the locals out of some money.
