The Auburn-LSU game was way closer, but yes. It was a close game.

Because you said “an onside kick away from winning”. As if getting an onside kick is easy and done all the time.

It was more to convey the fact that if you are trying to get an onside kick and you are a down less than a touchdown, then the game has to be considered close. Not sure if there is any other way to slice it unless you are being willfully dumb.

I see at least 3 LSU jerseys right there at him.

I bet you say last year Georgia was close to beating LSU too.

What % of trust do you have in your kicker at any point?

Because that was a shite insides kick

Good bounce

10 yards too deep.

Are you telling me he doesn't make the corner? Is that what you're saying?

About a 2% chance of winning. Congrats on how “close” it was.

If Bama had recovered onside kick... they would have won!

They make it seem like they weren’t down by double digits for a majority of the game. Wondering if you thought the same.
This is sad.

They were one onside kick away from having the ball. Seemed pretty close to me

So, Alabama never had the ball with a chance to take the lead in the 2nd half? Isn't that exactly what was said?

I mean maybe Bama could have made a comeback --- but I doubt it.

I just do not think they could have stopped LSU in the 4th.

LSU could have scored again, had they wanted.

How do you watch that gif and think he makes the corner? It looked like he was running in sand.

The last 30 seconds of the 1st half were the difference in points.

Joe Burrow converting 3rd downs in the second half was the difference in the game

Give that guy all the credit

Because the kicking team so often recovers those. Yeah.. happens just about every time an onside kick is done.

What does this have to do with whether or not the game was perceived as "close" or not? You keep giving a bunch of "ifs." Let's deal with facts. You are being oddly delusional

He literally does not use the word if. All the bamabackb1tches are the ones saying "if we get that onside kick."

You just that dumb or are you that hardheaded?

He would have driven his left shoulder at the WR’s right hip and tried to ride that block and hope momentum and LSU players not hitting him solidly would have carried him to the endzone.

Most likely would have gone straight down.

Yep, Tua drops the ball as he's running, snap goes straight through the punters hands, 12 men on the field when they intercepted a pass.

You forgot botched 2 pt conversion...

You've gone from "There were no LSU players in the frame" to "Bama had a WR blocking even though there were 3 LSU players converging on Tua".

The evidence is there for anyone with eyeballs to see. Tua wasn't getting anywhere near the goal line.

Find something else to try and troll.
