I can tell you've never been to either place.

I’m a current student at A&M.

I like Austin, but I like Texas A&Ms academics for my program and the people more.

To each their own, my family is split between Horns n Ags & each campus, fields of study & atmosphere fit well for everyone individually.

I think the Aggy life is bizarre etc, but I will say I respect their love/commitment to it. The differences in alumni & fan base are a key part in what makes the debates so much fun.

That's like saying "Jim Jones is a lunatic, but I really respect his followers commitment to his obvious lunacy".

Methinks there's quite a few people answering who've maybe visited Austin for a game or weekend but never lived there for an extended period.

Austin is the best city in Texas to weekend trip to or to have a buddy/family member who lives downtown. Living there fulltime whether you're a student or young professional is somewhat of a beating.

Hell, if you gave me the exact same financial circumstances for attending college again, I'm not sure I could afford to have the same kinda fun in Austin for 4 years that I did in a college town like CS.

Well if it's cherry or grape that's fine. But that lime is trash.

Texas.

They’re actually cocky about their school and athletics for good reasons.

I'm surprised you still have a liver.

Will there be any ball carrier of note this year in Austin?

True FR Keontay Ingram is the real deal.. not sure he’ll be an impact in Dallas tho.

Workhorse will be Soph Young, good at everything/great at nothing. Of course it all depends on OL, a significant improvement is necessary for us to gd s threat this year. We have to beasts at WR in Johnson & Humphrey & an elite burner in Duverney to stretch the field. Can the QB’s get enough time?
