Lol what a spin zone. “We aren’t putting them up in a shitty living situation, we are actually doing them a favor by helping motivate them for next year.”

Y'all are actively suggesting Kentucky should never be allowed to host again because of this situation. And now rooting for us to lose. Over offering dorm accommodations. Spare me.

Could it be a better situation? Sure. But they're going to survive.

People are just saying stop spinning it. It’s a shite situation and a bad look so just own it and do better next time.

There is not one person in this thread that has said this.

Wait are you surprised that opposing SEC fans are rooting for you to lose?

Once again, no one said they weren’t going to survive (not sure why you are acting like people are saying this), just that it’s a really shitty situation.

What should happen? First, John Cohen should be removed as committee chair for incompetence.

Second, UK should be told, in no uncertain terms, that they will have to reserve hotel room blocks going forward if they don't want their bid to host rejected. If they fail to do that, then, yes, they should be sent on the road. There's no excuse other than negligence for not doing this. The manual is perfectly clear, and the dates are known at least a year in advance.

What he doesn’t get is we would all penalize our own schools for the same thing.

Something to think about.

Had they not torn down "The Cliff" the dorms would be across the street from the ball park.

They built the new stadium not near any hotels or restaurants.
