When you combine season/home opener, first game under Kiffin, roster overhaul, out of conference opponent, etc. I feel like September 5th has the potential to be an all timer

All of these things you listed are great, but pale in comparison to having a top 10 matchup in November.
Texas and it’s not even close. The Texas game has so much more potential to be an enjoyable, meaningful, and exciting atmosphere and game.

Nah if we didn’t have people like you making shitty posts, this website would be better

LSU fans just spent an entire season shitting on an injured QB. Every fanbase of every sport has scumbags. Philly is notorious for it though.

I just started a casual replay of the story mode. As someone else said, look up how to make money in the stock market. It revolves around the assassinations with Lester. There are forums that tell you exactly what stocks to buy before the assassination missions and when to sell them. There are 5 assassination missions. 1 of them you have to do at the 25% way point, the other 4 you need to wait until after you do the final heist in order to snowball that money. I would say only look those up and you'll end up with plenty of money. The rest of the story you can just enjoy. It's a very fun game.

Is there anything to suggest that returning production is a strong indicator of production? That seems a heavy stretch especially in the year of the portal.

I’m pretty sure that it use to be a pretty big indicator of future success for teams. I agree with you though, it is very likely much less important these days with the portal.

I know somebody on here working for Arkel has a set of plans sitting in their office right now. Come on just give us a little peak…
quote:

LSU’s issues were walks and free passes.

The two worst on the team were Rizy and Paz.

They will pitch for the other team next year.

Reagan Ricken averaged a free pass per inning.
Zion Theophilus averaged over a a free pass per inning.
Santiago Garcia averaged over a free pass per inning.
Danny Lachenmayer averaged over a free pass per inning.
Cooper Williams averaged over a free pass per inning.
Ethan Plog averaged over a free pass per inning.

You want all of those guys gone? Oh and also Paz had more SEC innings than every guy that I just listed. So obviously Jay trusted Paz over every single one of those guys. If you wanted Paz gone because of free passes, that’s fine. But if that’s the case, there are several other guys currently on LSU’s roster that you should probably want gone too.
quote:

Better question, what does this have to do with what I said?

In order to say “we’ll be fine” with any sort of confidence, you need to have reasons to think that right?
Legit question, who are all of the guys that are going to turn our worst pitching staff in the SEC into a top half SEC staff?
So you’re saying Angel Reese sucks? I’m shocked
I’m not sure if I’m being clear or not. I believe you about your company. However, I’m not talking about your company. I do not think most companies have full access to every single employees phone. I don’t think your company’s policy is very common.
quote:

Well your company may different. My and my wife’s company requires us to give them our phone to load the apps along with the security shite they want on there, thus full access.

I’ve never had a company do this. I’m curious as to how common this is.

If Jared Jones doesn’t come back. If we don’t sign Louis Hernandez. If Charles Davalan doesn’t miss play that ball. I mean what are we even talking about?!?

I have no clue what you are talking about…
quote:

We didn’t get rid of Paz. He chose to enter the portal. I promise you he didn’t decide the other day.

I’m aware
quote:

Again, we’ll be fine.

I personally don’t think Paz wasn’t going to make or break our season next year, but dismissing every piece of bad news with “we’ll be fine” is how you end up with a season like we just had.

Everyone is talking about how Nolan Cain is a piece of shite and did this intentionally and your response is "oh everyone does it" with the implication being that we're no better. We have not done this.

I said that every school tampers, which is true. I didn’t bring up LSU. But if you want to dig into it we can. Last year the portal “closed” on July 1st. Zach Yorke entered the portal on June 29th. Trent Caraway entered the portal on June 30th. Santiago Garcia entered the portal on June 23rd. Do you think there is any chance that LSU has tried to convince a kid to get in the portal within the past 5 days?
quote:

No but there's no need to be obtuse. Marcos Paz doesn't tell Jay he's returning, knowing that LSU is bringing in Hood, and then do this bullshite 4 days before the portal closes on his own. This was deliberate by Cain.

It was a bullshite move.

I’m not being obtuse. You basically just agreed with everything I said that you quoted.
quote:

People worried about a guy who walked 27 in 29 innings and an ERA north of 9 are weird.

We have rosters spots to figure out. They’ll be more before it’s over.

We will be fine. Relax.

If LSU got rid of every freshman pitcher that struggled in their first year coming off of Tommy John surgery, we wouldn’t have won a national championship last year.
quote:

No. I’m saying, it’s very simple, if they can load their apps on your phone they have access to everything on your phone.

Who, my company? My company doesn’t have an app. I use third party apps that I choose to download for email and things of that nature. They don’t “load them” on to my phone. I am asking you how me logging into outlook on my phone gives my company complete access to everything on my phone.
quote:

Not the right race for you?

Jack I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Lester is trolling

The contrarian shtick is old. This is very likely a piece of shite move by a piece of shite coaching staff.

What am I being a contrarian about? Please answer that question. I basically said that this was tampering…

Nolan Cain got hired at A&M 5 days ago. I think he had a list of players that he liked and took that to Earley. A&M probably reached out and started talks. Do you disagree with any of that?
