The NIL cap should be 250k per player per year. That should be enough money for a 19 year old. You should get one free undergraduate transfer and then another free transfer if you graduate and still have eligibility.

Rant over.

It’s the Wild, Wild West. But, legally, your only options are two super conferences with collective bargaining, players union & contracts. Or, find an NFL team and enjoy the real version of pro football.

Dream on.

When we finally get to collective bargaining, which is the end game, you’re going to find out why the ncaa and institutions are letting the players do what they please outside of that.

You will never get that without collective bargaining agreements

I think we should make them qualify with the rest of the students. No more scholarships, nothing. Let's separate the minor league players from the students.

who are you to decide how much employees can be paid or where they can work ?

how would you like it if someone said you can only work at mc donalds and only make a max of $10 an hour, thats all you need ?

The SCOTUS decision does not allow for NIL caps.

I have to tell you, this modern version of CFB is making me think socialism might not be too bad of an idea. Greed has destroyed the sport I once loved. I will continue to watch for the next few years in the vain hope things change. However, if things continue to trend the way they are going, I'm out.

If a kid is getting over a set dollar amount, I agree, a scholarship shouldn't be on the table.

Transfers are by far the biggest frickup instead of NIL. Nil is stupid but if players were forced to actually stay and play where they signed on things would improve immeidatley.

I would love a cap on NIL but that aint happening. I also think that since these teenagers just want all their cake and eat it too, if they're going to be paid they need to pony up for everythign that they had been getting for free for the last hundred years. Tuition, housing, meal plans, clothes, medical costs, etc...all that was paid for already for them so if we're now giving them $1M/year they need to pay for their own shite.

Revenue caps you can do and is already done.

NIL, no one can force realtree, lady of our lake, or whoever to limit how much they want to pay for NIL services.

Whatever limit you put on players, coaches and admins need to have the same upper limit.

Cute. You think there’s no greed in socialism. The whole philosophy is based on envy.
