Corollary to this statement: Auburn does not often reach the 9-win mark.

Saban has beaten five 8-win Auburn teams that would've won nine had he lost to them

If auburn was worth a shite you would have 10 wins going into the IB.

This year is The tenth year in a row Saban has won 10 games.

GusBus has how many?

This statement is NOT a positive reflection of the Auburn program.

I fail to understand why Auburn fans like to parrot this?

Exactly. Saban has won seven of nine against Auburn. Glad a nine win regular season two of the last nine years is an accomplishment though

Basically Saban has never beaten a "good" AU team?

Saban is 9-6 (2-3 at LSU and 7-3 at Alabama) versus Auburn. That's a lot of mediocrity from Auburn. Not sure why this is continually crowed about every year at this time.

Wait what? It's a dumb post, but this is wrong. Saban had a loss in 2007, 2010, and 2013. And that's not counting when he was at LSU

Edit: 9-6 against Auburn all time

The 2014 team was 8-3 and ranked #15 going into the Alabama game. Alabama won by 11.

The 2016 was 8-3 and ranked #16 going into the Alabama game. Alabama won by 18.

If Auburn wins either of those games Auburn is 9-3 and in the Top 10. You just didn't win them. Then you shite yourselves in your bowl game. So, if he beats Auburn this year Auburn will be 9-3 and ranked outside the Top 10 again, probably lose their bowl game, finish 9-4 and this win won't count as a "good" win again. Ho hum.

He's 7-3 against Auburn at Alabama. Stop being mediocre so often.

Probably because, historically auburn doesnt usually have 9 wins. How many times has he beaten 8 win teams that helped keep from getting 9 wins?
