I think it is more likely the NCAA would target Ole Miss or Auburn, but the Mizzou ending was funny too

It's painful because it's true.

We share the block M with Michigan so they could've riffed off that.

It's a meme, I think from reddit, where if one bigger football program fricks up, Mizzou is the one who gets punished for something trivial.

I haven’t really been following this Michigan scandal. But from what I saw in the sec short, was Michigan really that blatant about it?

Of course he took a shot at the SEC during his interview. I am thinking - man, this is about Michigan, what is so hard to understand about that?

The SEC has been on top for so long they feel justified in taking those shots and presuming that if a team is cheating in another conference then SEC teams must be doing it a LOT more.

They took very little artistic license differing from the actual events.

this explains a whole lot imo..

Michigan destroyed it’s known opponents..

TCU had a good team last year, but not so good as to destroy Michigan.. but Michigan likely didn’t have the signs against TCU.. and got their asses kicked..

Meanwhile, Ohio State nearly beads Georgia..

It honestly may be that simple.

PS: Venables is doing it too.. Watch the game film.. Sark caught on and started huddling up on some plays, and suddenly the OU defense wasn’t as good in the 2nd half.

Watch their linebackers specifically..

Something important on this as well.

If a team is scouting offense, they are likely scouting defense too.. it would be helpful to know when a blitz was coming.. when it is man or zone.. etc etc

It’s a little harder since the defense is usually called after.. but there are ways to scout for this as well.

The Solution is not audio as the QB would still have to send the play to teammates in a no huddle offense.

The solution os softball wristbands that change every series.. just my two cents.

Sports Illustrated Cover

I won't be satisfied until I see Jim's mug on a major magazine.

Still can't believe the whole CFB world panicked over a couple free tattoos. This is a million times worse

I was surprised how blatant Michigan was about it. They left a paper trail concerning what they were doing. It also appears the coaches in the big ten all knew about it, probably not to the extent it was being done.

Some people think this is about stealing opponents signs, no this is about on-the-road scouting of opponents that was disallowed by the NCAA in 1994. You can argue the merits or lack of merit for the rule, but it is a rule.

It’s really not. We had a rogue tutor help a couple football players on class work and then she tried to blackmail the school and we get nailed. North Carolina creates fictional classes and the NCAA does nothing.

We get nailed because a basketball coach gave a on campus player some spare promotional Nike sandals, while Kansas got Adidas to fund their recruiting class and got off with no real punishment.
