Is it possible? Yes, but Leavitt has tendencies that will take time to correct. They’re exacerbated by having a left guard that provides the resistance of a shower curtain.
He’ll be great; I believe that. But it’ll happen over time.
Until then I expect to see him looking like an Adderall-laced squirrel every time he drops back. Luckily, he’s a gamer that can still win games while he grows.

Agree on all points. Golding did a good job there. Hes got a kicker that can hit from 90, so who cares if playing around there resulted in a delay of game or a false start from his guys. The possibility on LSU screwing up was there, so he tried it. It worked. Tip your cap.

When Leavitt threw to Green (4), Watkins (3), or Brown (3), he was 10/10 for 137 yards.
Contrast with the passes to Harris (7) and Wilson (5), where he was 3/12 for 9 yards.
This isn’t to bash Wilson and Harris, I think they’ve looked good this year. It’s to say that some things were working last night, but we didn’t acknowledge what worked and adjust to it.
Trey’Dez looked like a monster on each of his 4 touches, but he didn’t get a look until mid second quarter and then only sporadically from there. He should be exactly what you look for when it’s not going well.
