For your school, what you got?

LSU…I’d go with 2006. If I was old enough to watch, I’d probably say 1986. But it was incredible to see the ‘06 squad finish the first weekend by knocking off aTm on the Mitchell three at the buzzer. They took that momentum into the regionals against Duke and Texas, the top 2 seeds and both loaded.

Least favorite? 2022. Scoring droughts and refusing to close out on the 3 doomed LSU against Iowa State, and brought an end to the Wade era with yet another interim coaching the Tourney.

Still have nightmares that Ricky Blanton is going to show up whenever we play you guys and kill us again.

Id say the '96 run, the most stress free run possible, we just smushed teams.

110-72 San Jose St
84-60 Va Tech
101-70 Utah
83-63 Wake Forest

81-74 U Mass
76-67 Syracuse

Favorite was 06 since it was kinda unexpected.
I don't know if it was least favorite but 07 was no fun because anything less than a repeat was 100% failure.

Yeah, don't think anyone AU could realistically pick anything other than 2018-19 and the final four.

But two honorable mentions for me would be:
Our Elite Eight run in 1986 was awesome, the team basically forced Sonny Smith to not resign/retire as Auburn head coach by winning, eventually losing to national champion Louisville. It was amazing watching that run as a kid

Our 2003 Sweet Sixteen team was so close to beating the Melo Syracuse title team, that game was insanely good.

Least favorite would be last year's loss to Yale.

Favorite was 2008. Crushing the overall one seed UNC in the final 4 was stupendous.

Then the craziness to beat Calipari and Memphis.

For least favorite, too many disappointments to select from honestly. 97, 98, and 2011 were huge disappointments.

Favorite: 2019 Final Four run through Kansas, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

Least favorite: 2019 Final Four run that ended with the shite arse refs not calling a blatant double dribble allowing Virginia to win the game in the closing seconds of that game.

I was in the Alamodome for this one. I still can’t believe VCU pulled that off.

The final four run obviously.

Bad: toss up between the Kessler/Jabari team bombing out against Miami or last year with Penn.

I think ours is pretty obvious.

The bad is obvious too.

For A&M I’m not exactly sure what will be my favorite. We don’t have very good history in the tournament but I think for a lot of old timers they would say 1980 since that was our first Sweet 16 run but I was not alive for that run.

I would say the 2007 run will be my favorite if I had to pick because that was our 2nd Sweet 16 run and it was in the Alamodome but….that game against Memphis was such a letdown and we had the talent and the home court advantage in San Antonio to make the F4 that year.

Favorite 1988 OU vs KU. Many consider the best final ever. Stacy King vs Manning. Tied 50-50 at halftime and KU pulled it out. OU beat Kansas twice prior that year too including winning at Kansas what a shame.

What is this "March Madness" you speak of? Every Tennessee fan knows that you don't play college basketball in March. Quit making stuff up!

I haven't watched basketball of any kind in over 10 years.

Football and baseball are the only 2 sports we give a f*ck about in my part of Mississippi

Dude, but UF did repeat. So winning back to back NCAAs was no fun for you?

You may have issues

I second that on 2006, especially because our starting 5 was all from the Baton Rouge area and led us to a Final 4, making JJ Reddick cry in the process. The team laid a massive egg against UCLA.

Least favorite for me is actually 2015 vs NC State. We didn't make a fricking shot for like 9 minutes in the second half and blew a massive lead only to lose on a last second hook shot by some 400 pound guy who came off the bench and hadn't scored all game. To make matters worse the bracket opened up with a couple of upsets right after that could have allowed for us to make a huge run. That was the beginning of the end of the Johnny Jones era.

When your alma mater makes multiple Final Fours like LSU has, it is hard to choose between them all.

The '86 run was my favorite, just because LSU was such a Cinderella team as a low seed and playing with a 6-7 freshman at center after losing all its big guys. Dale Brown coached better that tournament than he did his entire career.
