That was the 06 and 07 seasons. It was entertaining as hell watching us run the spread option with Jorvorski Lane and Mike Goodson. It’s wild to think we won a game in Austin 12-7 in the 21st century ...

I think the Sunbelt has made great strides in the last decade. Out of all of the G5 conferences they have made the most improvements and I think it will get even better. The American is basically the old CUSA and the MWC can’t make many moves besides bringing in the PAC 12 rejects.

Obviously history isn’t your strong suit..we didn’t make a bowl game only 3 times in the last 20 years so I don’t know how that season was the standard? And btw you didn’t make a bowl game 4 times in the last 20 years…maybe you should brush up on your history...

That was also the worst A&M football team in the last 20+ years going 4-8 with Fran and you were a top 5-10 team that year so congrats?...

While 2012 is a good case you can’t forget about 1975. We were 10-0 and #2 in the country going to Arkansas and that game cost us not only a natty but an outright SWC championship as well. We ended up playing in the Liberty Bowl instead of the Cotton Bowl....

San Marcos/New Braunfels area is great to live at but that area is blowing up like crazy. Hopefully it will keep its charm 10-20 years from now....

1. Texas
2. LSU
3. Arkansas
But historically Aggie fans can’t deny that Tech wasn’t a rival especially in the Big 12 years. Growing up in the 2000s that game was pure hatred with those Mike Leach teams. I wanted to beat them more than Texas so...

Cannot believe people are actually believing that we want to go to the B10. That is utterly ridiculous. I don’t care how much money we would make there I would not get excited about playing Iowa, Northwestern, Maryland, Minnesota or Rutgers....

In 2005 Texas State was in the Southland Conference in the FCS, UTSA football didn’t even exist, TCU was in the Mountain West and UH was in CUSA

I think UGA and Michigan will be 2 for sure losses. Now between OU, Arkansas, and A&M I think you’ll lose 1 of those as well…hell I wouldn’t be surprised if you lose 2 of those considering that Arkansas and A&M will be very emotional road games....
