SIAP but I did not see a thread about this.

Day 1 of the Regionals is wrapping up. The Top 5 teams in each regional will move on to the Championships in Fayetteville. Here are where the SEC teams stand at this point:

Athens Regional
1. Georgia: E
2. Vanderbilt: +2
4. Tennessee: +6
------------------
6. Kentucky: +9
12. Alabama: +18

Austin Regional
4. Arkansas: -2

Louisville Regional
1. Auburn: -8
---------------
9. Mississippi State: +10

Pullman Regional
1. Texas A&M: -11
------------------
6. Florida: -5
6. S. Carolina: -5

Stanford Regional
------------------
6. Ole Miss: +3
11. LSU: +7

So far, six SEC teams are in the Top 5 of their Regional with several others certainly within striking distance. Would love to see at least 8 SEC teams make it to Fayetteville.

Good suff, Kyle. Thanks

So much can swing in college golf, even in a few holes. Arkansas would be tough to beat at home, especially after winning the SEC

It would be pretty major for us to get to play on our home course. Just like it would for any decent golf team. I can see quite a few SEC teams being in the hunt if they can hang on and make it to the championship.

If you think y’all have been snake bit this season then we have had an anaconda wrapped around our necks all season.

Which means next season we’re going to be winning lots of stuff.

We lost our top 3 players to injury and surprise December jump to the PGA. All guys we counted to be around.

Auburn has opened up a 6 shot lead over Baylor and #1 Oklahoma State. They are -11.

Mississippi State is -3 today and +7 overall. They are in 7th place and 4 shots out of 5th place.

Auburn is pretty darn good. Vandy is pretty salty as well, and if Arkansas makes it, they will have a home course advantage which is worth 4 points according to Vegas.

Arkansas is up 5 shots on USC after Day 2.
USC is lying in wait. They are going to close strong. They have been one of the stronger programs the last ten years and very rarely fail to get out of the regionals.

How many rounds do they play? Looks like Georgia finished day two in 1st one shot ahead of Vandy.

UGA, Auburn, Vandy and A&M look to be locks barring a collapse.

Yeah they scare me but Arkansas is only 1 shot behind TCU and just 5 back of Pepperdine and Clemson. Texas is the only lock in that regional.

Clemson has been pretty steady.

I agree with you on Pepperdine but that first Day score could hold up unless they totally collapse.

1Texas -10 274 F -16 552

T2Pepperdine +6 290 F E 568

T2Clemson E 284 F E 568

4TCU +8 292 F +4 572

5Arkansas +7 291 F +5 573

6Southern California +4 288 F +10 578

7Iowa +1 285 F +12 580

8Marquette +13 297 F +19 587

Hogs have plenty of motivation tomorrow. They are consistent players in the NCAA championship round. I expect them to advance.

I think the following advance:

Auburn
Vanderbilt
Georgia
A&M
Arkansas
Ole Miss
LSU
South Carolina
Tennessee
