The original DEI

I believe that would be the emancipation proclamation.
Time to finally retire my 2010 Salomon Shogun daily drivers. They had a good run, hundreds of days in fact. I still love them, but I know I’ll be skiing my last runs on them the first half of this season as I demo/purchase new all-mountain skis to replace them.

After doing a lot of research, I’ve narrowed down my target to these, similar specs to the Shoguns. I of course won’t know how the rocker points of contact are until I feel them on the mountain.

Have any of yall been on any of these skis? Thoughts?

It's August man, can't go on forever. We got low-to-mid 80s coming next week

Which also means it's time to start going heavy on legs/core at the gym for preseason training over the next few months.

It’s been a hot and fiery summer out west. But thankfully it is winding down.

You serious Clark? It's gonna be 100 degrees here again tomorrow.

I'm getting a few 4-packs for Loveland. If the super El Nino prediction pans out, Loveland is gonna get hammered.
It has been ownership. The Monforts don't GAF about the team and product on the field. They're more interested in the real estate around the field. They bought most of it and have been developing the acreage over the last several years and plan to do more.

They know people will continue to go to the games because Coors Field is a great ballpark, and the away teams draw more fans most series because Denver is a city full of transplants from elsewhere.

The Walton/Penner group that now owns the Broncos bought a 40% ownership in the Rockies back in April, so I suspect things will start to change related to the product on the field. They won't stand for half arse effort to put a competitive team on the field. Their new Mile High Stadium and entertainment district plans are badarse and they're fully invested into making the Broncos a championship caliber team.

Nanit. They also have a velcro band you put around the torso that has printed shapes. The camera is smart and monitors breathing, as well as sleep tracking, motion/sound notifications on your phone, etc. The app is great. We've been using it since we had our son September 2022. Now we just use the camera. It tells room temp, room humidity, still tracks his sleep, motion, sounds, etc. It also has a microphone on it to talk to him when needed. It has a light too but we've never used it.

Nanit
And that's enough internet for me today. Heartbreaking.

ETA: took my 3 year old son on his first boat ride Saturday afternoon. Storm passed by us and the outflow boundary/downburst hit us while we were on the lake heading back to dock at our friend's lake house. Wind wasn't nearly as high as this sad situation, but it was definitely strong enough to chop up the lake and make the boat ride back pretty uncomfortable for him. We went back out later and had a nice smooth boat ride for him that he loved.
The difficulty of Aho’s goal when he redirected that bad pass from his skate, to his stick blade, then one-timed it to the back of the net all while streaking in towards the net can’t be understood by anyone that’s never played hockey. It was an insanely elite sequence of coordination and skill by him.
Hopefully Stone wasn’t shaking his head going to the box thinking he didn’t do anything that deserved a penalty. Dbag.
Baw, just buy a bottle of Talstar P and a 1-gallon hand pump sprayer and do it yourself.

The GM 5.3L isn’t having any issues AFAIK.

I have a 2019 5.3L and it's doing just fine. Only ~54k miles though.
Awful. That was a bs way to win
Hope this continues into next week. I'll fire some more bazooka rounds at SLI and other tickers.
I know this happened a few months ago, but I'm not familiar with the pre-IPO market (Forge Marketplace). Does anyone on here trade on Forge, before or since the Schwab acquisition? How does it work? Obviously pre-IPO trading would be ideal. Not just for SpaceX but for several others coming down the pipe (Anthropic).

Anyone have experience or intel on this? I just have an individual brokerage account with Schwab that I use for trading, standard post-IPO trading of course.
Never heard of it. Looks like they have some good golf courses nearby too.
Never knew about this here. Pretty cool for the students. Interesting reading about Charles Barney. My dad was also a geo at Superior in Houston when Mobil acquired them in 1984. They had to have worked together during that time.
Georgetown Loops train as well.
Ya that was bad. Been some bad missed calls tonight.
