The Clarion Ledger would not make it a story if the players transferred anywhere else.
I wouldn't flatter yourself. It would be a story if they transferred to any school and were being sued.
Here's another article. Surprise, surprise—look who the school was that allegedly tried to get him to break his revenue-share contract.
washington considering legal action
One common denominator here.

I don't have a dog in this fight but LSU is handing out some powerful negative recruiting material to their competitors. What did they tell the portal guys? If you ever worked for a big company with deep pockets you know Verbal contracts can be enforced.
OM is in the right for demanding payment. Walter Nolen evidently didn't read his contract before he left A&M. His car was towed off within a couple of hours of his commitment to OM.

Whenever I see another stupid post by you, it always brings me back to your romantic love song you wrote for Lane late last year.
quote:
Why Me, Lane? Why me, Lane, what have I ever done To deserve even one Of the pleasures I’ve known? Tell me, Lane, what did I ever do That was worth loving You Or the kindness You’ve shown? Lane, help me, seriously, I’ve wasted it. So help me trust in the plan, I know what I am, ’Cause now that I know how I’ve needed You, Oh, help me trust in the plan, my sanity’s in Your hand. Try me, Lane, if You think there’s a way I can somehow pay Your salary After all I’ve taken from You. Maybe, Lane, I can show someone else What I’ve been through myself On my way back to You. Lane, help me seriously, I’ve wasted it. So help me trust in the plan, I know what I am, ’Cause now that I know how I’ve needed You, Oh, help me trust in the plan, my sanity’s in Your hand. Lane, help me seriously, I’ve wasted it. So help me trust in the plan, I know what I am, ’Cause now that I know how I’ve needed You, Oh, help me trust in the plan, my soul’s in Your hand. Lane… my sanity’s in Your hand.

The Clemson player was actually enrolled in class at Clemson. Ethics must be defined differently for Pete.

It was Miami that offered Williams money to enter the portal. That’s been common knowledge. They ended up persuading Darian Mensah to break his rev share agreement.
Do you want to talk about Carius Curne following Frank Wilson to Ole Miss? How about Wilson recruiting Harlem Berry and Caden Durham while they were not in the the portal?
Don’t throw stones from your glass house.

This is a media ploy by Ole Miss. Consider the source here

The fact of the matter is, if you don't try to enforce these revenue-share contracts, they mean nothing. It's not that Ole Miss is going after LSU; it's simply that the only players trying to breach their contracts happened to transfer to LSU.
And as you know, it will be sorted out through the legal system. This shite happens every day, all over the country. As someone who works in the insurance industry, you should be well versed in companies which don't honor their contractual obligations.

Exactly. But it benefits Ole Miss, their beat writers, and the narrative they put out in the media when the AD publicly cries about it.

Their AD didn't seem to mention if the deadline had been missed or not. Gullible Ole Miss probably didn't have one written in.

Which is why this is a nothing burger from a weak AD and Ole Miss media hungry for clicks

If they lied they’ll just transfer out after the season anyway.
Posted on 7/14/26 at 5:45 pm to REBEL5 AC
So Princewell will make less at LSU this season than he did at Ole Miss last season?
This is like watching a Nigerian scammer get scammed.
